I am getting text messages I send "out" and they send a different message. It will stop for a while then starts back up.

I received a text from this number: "Do you owe $10,000+ to the IRS? Our gov't approved program can REDUCE BACK TAXES by over 70% Reply "YES" to see if you qualify? (optout,reply:out). When I tried to call this number to find out how the got my phone number (as it is registered with the DO NOT CALL registry), it only rang about 3 or 4 times, then went silent.

This is a texting phone number. Teller will put you on hold to talk to a guy named Jack or James Cox (bogus name). It's a terminal hold machine. He will never call you back. It's a Los Vegas company. They obtain thier phonenumbers through a marketing resource. It is against the law to send marketing text messages. Please, report this Los Vegas company to the Attorney General for that state. The website who owns it is cuturdebt.com. However, you cannot obtain any information on the site as it's has dummy site information.
