I received the following text message.

"Do you owe $10,000+ to the IRS? Our gov't approved program can REDUCE BACK TAXES by over 60%. Reply "IRS" to see if you qualify! (optout,reply:out)"

Just received the same text described in other posts to my Verizon phone. Sigh..I'm on the DNC list which I would expect would cover texting?

Like all the entries posted iin this blog, I have AT&T mobile and startd to receive the same annoying text message.  At first I thought it was the bank and I inadvertantly hit redial.  My call went to the answering machinge for this phone number.  The angry male voice starts out by saying th following, "Just give us your f-cking money losers.  Give  us all your f-cking money, you f-cking f**got......................."  The voice continues to rant, making more threats and then at the end, says to leave a message at the tone.

I left no messsage.  This goes beyond the clost of a few cents for this spam, and I would be equally upset if one of my kids had gotten the same voice mail.

Got a text today from 702-541-4015 today:

Problem is: it works for them. If just a fraction of a small percentage of the people reply positive, it makes it worthwhile for them.

Idiot texted me about being $10k in debt. I am registered on the do not call list so I guess they figured they'd text me?

I just received a Text from the 1-702-541-4015 number.  It is clearly a telemarketer.  It was  the first time a random number has sent me a message about some offer.  Please track these people down and arrest them.  I have also told my father, a local police officer,  who will be talking to a local state lawyer,  and will try to see what we can do to pursue them and prosecute

So I called my carrier Verizon and they blocked the call so I won't get anymore messages from them.  If you have a Verizon account and want to learn to do it yourself call them do they can tell you how to get there online  888-669-9901 or call 611 and ask.

As for AT&T users they told me i have to change my phone number if I want to have to stop calling me, mind you the number I was getting text from a 714 No. was an AT&T mobile number and they don't care  unlike Verizon when I got another text from another number (all the same messages) Verizon was able to put a complaint on their number.

Don't forget to register your number DO NOT CALL LIST and report that number

I RECEIVED A TEXT MESSAGE FROM 702 541-4015 ABOUT DEBT PROBLEMS AND DO NOT APPRECIATE THIS.  SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE TO STOP THEM FROM TEXTING AGAIN.
