They are still at it!  Received a call today - Victoria left a message saying that they had looked at my web page and that I needed to call them back today.  Is assume that after 2 years there is no difference since something about a web page was part of the call.  Thanks for 800notes.com to help knowing when to tell these unsolicited callers to go jump in the lake.

Actually, I need the service they're selling and was at first excited to talk to them. An hour later and my dinner is getting cold and they won't let me hang up. Colin is very insistent that their half-price sale is ending tonight in an hour and I should buy now even though this is the first time I've ever heard of them.  
Basically very high pressure sales for a service that can't be guaranteed logically which they offer at a much higher price than their competitors. I asked I see their contract terms, and they tried to get me to enter my credit card number before they would give me the terms of their Guarantee.
Here's a concern you must consider...it costs less than $300 to set up an LLC, but you pay them $3990 to sign up. Do you think they may have dozens of registered LLCs with the online business bureau? All of which have no complaints because of sheer numbers? Maybe it's a consideration...

Amazingly rude. When I asked the caller to place my number on their DNC (which it already is BTW) she said, "What?" I repeated my self, then she told me, "Good luck selling homes without advertising." The line went immediately dead.

Was concern that I was a Realtor and he wanted some information from me on what ever. Said: I'LL TELL YOU WHAT... THEN SLAMMED THE PHONE DOWN. This is one of the same numbers I had reported before, they didn't understand what you told them, because they had call a few more times since I last reported before. TOLD THEM AGAIN NOT TO CALL, MY NUMBER IS ON THE "DO NOT CALL LIST.

It's a scammy SEO company that operates out of Nevada. They change their name often. Anyway, it's almost worth it to take their call just to hear their overly aggressive sales pitch and then have them insult you when you refuse to sign up. I'll quote what closer 'Benjiman' said to me before hanging up: "I hope you are still in business in 6 months...but I doubt it".

Long story made short.  They told me about my website in the yellow pages (I dont have one).  said his name was Johnny Thunder.  Asked where he really found it and he said his research department.  I said I was on the do not call list. he said I needed business didn't I?  I said I dont need nor have I requested your help. I then checked the national do not call registry and found by return email that Ive been on the list since December 30th, 2005.  I called him back and a surly operator hung up on me so I called back a few minutes later to get my messege across.  This piece of human debris called me a liar and kept laughing tauntingly so I went back to the registry and filed the complaint. Today.

Unsolicited sales call.  Rude, obnoxious.

This people won't even tell me who they are.  They ask for the person in charge of our website, when I say I am, they say they can't talk to me because I'm not the owner.  They keep insisting the owner will want to talk to them.  I keep telling them she won't call back unless they tell me what the call is regarding.  LOSERS!

I call my state attorney general "office of consumer affairs" and report these calls. You might also try calling your congressional rep in your district...they supposedly passed a law to clamp down on these calls...

Get calls from these bozos all the time telling me they can't find me on page one of Google. Luckily, our clients can. They try to get you to go to their web site, topofpageone.com, so they can "help you get found on all the search engines". Well, that site has ZERO page rank, no meta tags and can't be found on the first 3 pages of Google for any of the key words on their site. Now isn't that a great SEO company, whose site isn't on page one of Google for "SEO", "Internet Marketing", "Search engine Optimization", or anything else. Sort of like the blind trying to lead someone who can see just fine...Anyway, they are now blocked in my phone software, so let's see them try to call me now. Idiots...

This person keeps calling , I already asked him to remove me from his list. Its a marketing company "World Wide". Im having to report this number to the Better Business Bureau.

Horrible people who are extremly rude.  Told them several times, I wanst interested and have called 6 times in 1 hour!

Some guy named Alonzo called trying to sell me a service and when I told him that I did not have time at the moment, he went on to say that he would call my competitors and help them build their business.  Very rude guy.  As soon as he didn't get what he wanted, he turned ugly.

This is an opportunity to have fun. Dial them back. BUT PUT *67 FIRST so that they don't know you. Then just keep them on the phone for as long as you can. Have fun. Make it interesting. Tell them all about your last vacation, your depression, your fantastic new hairdoo or even share a fun joke with them. Call as many times as you can. Get your friends to as well.. It is great!!!!

Calls and leaves a message that they are Alonzo Davis and are on your website and have some questions about the services you offer.You are supposed to call them back on a different number than what CID shows.  It is obviously a telemarketer and it almost always is some loser SEO company, that if they were actually as good as they claim would not be calling every website owner out there trying to sell their services because every big company would be beating down their door to use them.  Even if you tell them to take you off their call list, they keep calling. Worse they just use another number when you block them and start calling on the new number.

I did not pick up the phone. When I see a number come up on caller ID that I do not know, too bad. Leave  a message if it is important. After awhile they will get the message. I am not interested.

Got the following voicemail from this number today:

"Hi, My name is Anthony. I was looking at your website and had a few questions. When you get the time, give me a call back. At (702) 835-1525. Thanks."

These telemarketers think they're slick, but they're SO easy to spot. Call center background noise is unmistakable, and the vague references they make are nothing like what a worthwhile caller makes. Guess who's getting blocked today.

Got a call from Anthony, their new catch phrase, "I'm looking at your web site and I have a question, call back" Do not call back it's a waste of time. They are trying to sell you ads.

Telemarketer for SEO.  Caller ID only says Las Vegas, NV  Claimed their research department found I lost a large number (I wasn't paying that much attention) of customer searches last year on a particular site. Of course, I wasn't listed on that site last year and told him so.   He wanted me to go to a website to look at what they found.

I told him that I am not opening a web page for him as his information was flat our wrong.  Of course he went on to say his information isn't wrong.

I told him, he could feel free to mail or email me his information, and he insisted I open up a website.  I said thanks no and hung up.

It is probably from company "TopofthefirstPage" or something similar. I sat through a full hour conversation with the rep from an unsolicited call about getting my business website on top of the first page of google.
Curious what they were all about I listened only to fall into a very good ( think Timeshare pressure) pass from rep to manager to supervisor to getting hung up on when I confirmed my final answer.
I called back to discuss the practice of the hangin up on me and he went right back into his scripts.
Business Developement is all the name they would give me when I called and kept trying to switch the coversation about how they could help me build my biz. I do work in the MLM/Direct sales so it was geared towards helping me build my downline or other revenue streams from my websites.
Basically if you have open info from your websites they can easily get your number.

Received a call. The vmail said, "This is Shirley.  I need you to call me back at..." the same area code but a different number from this number.  I did call back just after the message was left thinking it was potential business and a rough voiced male answered (just as the background for Shirley sounded with loud voices in the background) asking, "Hello, who's this?"

Something really needs to be done about these telemarketers.  I am on the "Do Not Call" List and I get telemarket calls nearly every day of the work week.  I am really tired of it because it wastes time.  I just told the voice that I had the wrong number.  I really was telling the truth!!!!  They don't even bother to say what company they are calling from when they call.  They must really be embarrassed to leave that important information out.  I guess they don't think their company has a chance if they tell us the name...Pretty sad!
