I got a call saying I would win hundreds of thousands of dollars if I would call 866-986-5997.
The caller said his number was 702-330-9350.I checked on the 866 area code and found it was Caribbean so of course I did not call it. A fraud and scam worth tracking down?

Received Spam on Cell Phone that says:  "Michelle wanted me to send this to you."  It came from 702-600-7850

Mine said Michelle wanted you to see this link........I did not click the link

bitly is a url shortening service. I think somebody created a shortened url and sent it to you, not bitly.

He has yet to return my call, but I figure that if enough of us call, they might think the

better of spamming us again.

I also filed a complaint with the BBB, and reported the number to Verizon's spam number (For

Verizon: forward the message to 7726, they'll reply with a msg asking for the business's phone

number, I replied with 646-678-5610.

I got a similar message but did not go to the link because it was a caller with no ID. I never open these because I know these are scams.

How do these *uckers get our numbers!

So just got this message yesterday from this number and from "Jennifer".  Today I get the same message from 702-279-8035. Really weird/annoying.

All 3 phones on my account got the same text message but instead of Mike it said Jennifer.

Got the same thing only with Jennifer.   The area code goes to Nevada and more than likely our numbers were gotten by an app on the google market.

Just got a text saying that Jennifer said to send this to you. Coincidentally (or not) they used my wife's name and so I opened it and found a spam for free costco gift card.

I received a text that said "Michelle said to send this to you" and a link.  I didn't intend to open the link but I did.  It was a COSTCO gift card. I didn't go any further. So now we are getting SPAM in text forms?  I sent a text back and told them to STOP!
