Got a call from these scheming/scamming sobs. Hope they get arrested.

Have filed numerous complaints with Do Not Call and it still does no good.  I must have gotten 30+ calls from this number and they still call. I call them very nasty names when I am home and they still call.  Tried contacting the people at Channel 3 to see if they wanted to look into them.  Got no reply.  Guess I will either not answer or continue to curse at them when they call.  Makes no difference to me.

Those of you getting calls from family or friends and the caller ID shows something different should call your local phone provider (Cox or CenturyLink) for assistance.

These guys must be running a whole bunch of scams. I receive at least one call a day from these a$$e$. Some start with a recording saying "Attention power company customers..." I hang up at that point. Last night the live guy (after the 3 second robo-call delay to transfer) was asking for my wife by name and saying he was from some Blah Blah Funds Company, obviously trying to get her to invest in something. I always wonder how STUPID they think people are, but you know what, there are people dumb enough to fall for their crap.The caller ID ALWAYS says Visdion Telecomm 702-614-5500, no matter what the scam.

Speaking of dumb people, let me address another bunch of dummies: those of you who post on here and cry "Why are they calling me? I'm on the do not call list." Let me tell you folks, if the caller posts a name and/or phone number on the caller ID they are allowed to call you. The bogus nature of that info may be the basis for fraud if you want to pursue it (and some will be dumb enough to think that's a good idea too). I wish you the best, but I hope you enjoy beating your head against the wall.

GET REAL FOLKS! The scammers know all the ways around the law. Your best defense is a good offense: blow that coach's whistle loud and long in their ear once a live person actually starts talking and see how long the calls keep coming.

Can anyone tell me why when I call my mother from out of state area code Arizona, her caller id says i am 702-614-5500 Vision Telecom? She wont answer my calls because she thinks i am this Vision Telecom company and it is really bothering me? There are 3 numbers in Vegas of family I call and two of them I show up as this company? PLEASE HELP!! Thank you!

Can you tell me how you cleared up this number showing on your caller id? When i call my mom from out of state, the same thing is happening! This number 702-614-5500 and name is Vision Telecom is on her caller id?

I received a call on my land line from 702-614-5500.  Caller ID displayed it as "Telecom Vision"/  It rang with a local ring (I live in Las Vegas).  At the same time, my cell phone rang showing my girlfriend's long distance number.  I answered the land line and it was my girlfriend.  She was calling another number of mine that rings on any and every phone that I want it to ring on.  Currently it is set up to ring on my land line and my cell phone.  So when she calls that number, my land line rings and my cell phone rings.  We talked for an hour then disconnected.  She called me back 10 minutes later as I was researching 702-614-5500
online.  Same thing happened.  Maybe central office switching problems somewhere.  You folks gave me a great idea though.  I'm going to get a small air horn.  In the event that jerks like this start calling me, I'll start speaking with them more and more softly.  I'll go along with their program (feeding them B.S. of course) all the while speaking softly and with even lower volume so that they really have to strain to listen and press their earpiece hard on their ear....hahaha.  Then at the right moment WHAM, I'm going to let them have it with the air horn LOUD!!!!  THEN I'll really let the fun begin...  Thanks folks!!!

I just got a call from this number and on Caller ID was listed as Telecom Vision. They have been calling for a few weeks but today I was home to answer. A female recorded voice said "Hello World" 3 times and then said "Goodbye". Very strange, not sure what to make of it.

This number has called my work phone 4 times in a row and when i answer its just a beeping noise, no one is on the line.

They called me Sunday Morning and they just called me 8:40 pm on Monday. What is wrong with these people and what is wrong with the Do Not Call List People?

Received call from "Telecom" and asked me to verify my phone number.  I asked what number did you call and he gave me my phone number.  He then said my number was wrong... a number we've had in the family for many years.  He spoke very poor, perhaps an "India Indian" accent.  I told him that I'm not sure what he is trying to sell, but since I'm on the no call list, don't call again.

I wish they would quite calling, I got this # back in march and they keep asking for nancy, I tell them its a new business number and I don't know Nancy nor does Nancy work for me. and they hang up, I call back and its busy..... this is bull crap.... every day 10 times .. still going to give same answer...

The con artists are using what's known as a "Yellow Box" to fake the caller ID of a legitimate business by the name of Vision Telecom in Las Vegas. The con artists are a bank and credit card fraud (phishing) crime group based out of India. They will try to talk you through installing software on your computer that will steal your bank account numbers, credit card numbers, passwords, and whatever they can find on your computer's hard drive, browser caches, and password keychain.

They were calling me every day, sometimes at odd hours.Doing some research on the number I learned that they are a scam so I decided to use my favorite method to get my number removed from their list - waste their time. The last time they called I answered. They told me they are from Microsoft and they have detected a virus on my windows computer that is causing a problem with their servers (my computer is a Mac, LOL!). I acted like I was truly concerned and asked them to help me get rid of it. I put on an act like I was computer illiterate and hard of hearing. I wasted 25 minutes of the idiot's time by repeatedly putting him on hold while he thought I was doing what he was telling me. He finally got frustrated that I couldn't follow his instructions and hung up on me. The calling rate from India to the U.S. is $4.00 per minute so his call cost him $100.00. That was three months ago. They haven't called back since.

If you want to be removed from a telemarketer's list, waste their time by making some excuse and putting them on hold until they realize they're on eternal hold and hang up. They will take you off their list because you're costing them money. It works every time for me ;-)

I keep getting phone calls from this number asking to speak to the owner. I tell them we do not accept advertising or solicitation calls and they just hang up and call back EVERYDAY!

I left a message at 702-614-5500 telling them to take me off their call list.  A very nice man returned my call to let me know it is not his company.  Somehow another company is able to put his information on caller ID.  He wants to report it and get it to stop, but does not know how.

I receive calls from these people at least 20 times a day.  They never leave a message, and when I answer the phone they hang up.  They called this morning at 7:30 AM.  I plan to file a harassment suit if it doesn't stop.  I don't know who they are nor what they want.

Caller said I had charges being pressed against me, I said what for, the broad wouldn't say what for. Told me I had to call another number to find out. I hung up, they called back 10x after. I took my phone off the hook. I have some nice choice words the next time they call back!

Read about the your-PC-is-infected-corrupted scam here http://news.softpedia.com/news/Cold-Call-Tech ... on-150170.shtml They lie about your PC sending out malware, error messages, etc., and say your PC is about to crash to frighten you into giving them remote control of your PC to fix the nonexistent problem (don't let them!). If they ask you to open the systems tab in eventvwr.msc to see all the errors, these harmless errors are *normal* for any Windows PC (mine has several and it runs just fine). Don't let them take control of your PC because they can download *real* malware, possibly a malware suite, that can spam, steal bank logins and personal info, etc. If they've remoted into your PC, the safest fix is to re-format your drive and re-install your OS assuming you have clean backups of your data. You can try scanning with various antivirus software but scanning may not find all the malware. If you don't know how, get help from friends or pay a local shop to do it. THIS IS A SCAM.

Called my house today(Vision Telecom), said my computer had sent them a message, something about malware.  I could barely understand his accent, also noisy background.  He then asked if my computer was on a the time, and they could fix it.  At that time I hung up on him.

Outing them won't work in this case if you read all the posts. You will see this is not from one company or person. There are so many different explanations for their calls and they are all obviously illegitamate. They are not going to give you any truthful information to out them. Just don't answer. Or could we call this Vision Telecom and report that someone is using them for caller ID. I don't think this would work either though. You just can't control everything, so everyone should just try to stop stressing about this.

I answered LO since I didn't recognize number. They just hung up without speaking. My home phone was called but is transferred to my cell. I have now created a contact to identify them and will use ignore call if they try again. The Do Not Call Registry is useless in a case like this where these people are just routing some number through this number, and do not care about our laws. Yelling at any of these people just will get them to curse you and/or keep calling incessently. Never yell at the scammers or the collection agencies you don't want to deal with. They get their kicks out of making you scream. They know you and even the FCC can't find them anyway.

I sdn't answer any calls I do not know who they are from. But, the insesen ringing is still a bother. Why do the keep ringiing after 4 or 5 rings. Not many people will pick up beyound that number.

First call of the day... "John Paul" calling from Ranking Solutions asking for IT Exec.  John Paul is calling from a call center and has a very strong Indian accent.  Disconnect.

Got a phone call from this company on 10/5/12 at 6:30 A.M. local Pacific time as I asked to why they are calling so early in the morning in which they do not care at all. They wanted me to verify my address to serve papers to me in which I said to them that I am not verifying nothing with you and I told them to go f themselves and leave me alone
