Some idiot used my phone number online to request information for a refi. Since then, I'm getting all kinds of phone calls, and I just got my first one from this number. Looks like I'll be getting several more, too. I didn't answer.

6 calls today alone, followed by a hang up when you answer.  Annoying

i try getting info in the company XO Communications, that is the phone line provider, were the phone calls are coming from, this is what i found.

it could be one of the employees, trying to see how can they get more customers, in developing a system to get to more cell phones, or it could be some scamer trying to hack your phome, if you have a smart phone, is like having a computer, that the black hot hacker can intrude, the number 702-664-1757 have call me for about one week, every other day or sometimes two time in a single day. is anoing to have this kind of calls. i have an add in craigs list, maybe that is were they get our numbers from. i hate this guy.

I installed a phone app called Call Control.  You can block callers and it keeps a Black List for you too.  It also keeps calls from going to voice mail.

702-664-1757 - they keep calling my land line and now they are calling my cell phone.  When I pick up phone no one is there.   It's driving me crazy, they call all hours of the day.  This weekend they called my land line at least 8 times and sometimes only minutes apart.  I am at a loss as to what to do to stop these annoying calls.  From white pages:

Thanks for this info. Since complaints filed with the FTC do nothing, I used this info to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Southern Nevada demanding that these jerks not only stop calling but also disclose the names, addresses and phone numbers of all companies they use for marketing purposes. Time to put pressure on them.

I have recieved phone calls from this number for the past month.  I have finally gotten my fill of this harrassment and now I have taken action.  I suggest that each of you do the same to stop this from continuing to happen to you.  You need to contact the FCC, FTC at 1-877-382-4357 and you should have a state consumer protection agency that will also help.  I also have bocked the number from my phone by contacting my service provider.  These actions should put a stop to this harrassing service.  Good luck!!!!

Got a call and hang up from this number

These people keep calling my cell phone number and then they either hang up or never leave a message.  Whoever you are out there...STOP CALLING or else I will report you to the FBI for violation of the DO NOT CALL list.

Because the DNC list is in fact,  just a  "List".    It doesn't block calls or in any way stop anyone from calling anyone.  Just a list that is required to be purchased by legitimate companies so that they will know who does not want to be called.  The key word here is  "Legitimate" .   Scammers and scofflaws will call any time they please and all that can be done is report them to the DNC/FTC/FCC.

Called two or three times a day for 2 days straight.  I never answered.  My phone is also on the DO NOT CALL list, so how did this happen??????

I received a call from this number many times. Tried calling back every time and got a busy signal. I finally was able to answer at one point and they wanted to speak to the home owner. I asked what company this was and the purpose of the call. She said Bay Area rate quotes? When I told her that she was calling a cell phone and weather I was a home owner or not I didn't want her sells pitch and stop calling. She then said she would continue to call me everyday. Rude! Laughing, I told her good luck with that and then blocked her number. Haven't heard back...
