The number you people are getting calls from is not a partner with verizon, we just say we are to get you to switch. Its a telemarketing place in vegas, little booths were we all call people on the east side of the country. we do lower your rates but we will eventually get your money and you will get bad service, I currently work here so I know. OH AND NOW WE GO BY DEL TECH AND OR ONETOUCH COMMMUNICATIONS.

Usually no one is there when I pick up but for the past few weeks I?ve been getting different people, all saying they?re from Verizon and want to bundle my phone & internet for reduced rates.  The first time I told them I don?t want the internet phone and prefer to keep the landline and asked to be taken off the calling list.  Since then the calls have increased.  The first few times I explained about the reason I don?t want their service and asked to be taken off the calling list.  Now I just hang up when they start their sales pitch.  Ridiculous.

We have been receiving at least 2 calls a day from this number for the last 2 weeks. They always want to speak to the person who is responsible for the Verizon bill. I have told them to stop calling 5 times but they continue to call so today I got the woman to hold until she finally hung up after about 10 minutes.

The same guy must have just called me. When I asked him if I could take a message, he said "I bet you could" and hung up. What a tool!

No one on line when we answer.  Stop calling.  We are not intersted in telemarketing.

RUDE junk phone call

This company keeps calling.  The lady said that they were contracted by Verizon to offer small businesses a special rate.  I told them we are not interested and they continue calling. They have never actually told the name of their company.  They always ask to speak to the person in charge of our Verizon account.  I told them to stop calling bc we are on the DO NOT CALL list and I was told there was no such list!!!! According to  The White Pages Reverse Lookup, it's a Nevada cell phone. No information available.

This number had been popping up on my caller id at least once a day for the last several days. I picked it up today, answering with the name of my business, and a woman said, "No, no, no" and hung up the phone. I called the number back and there was a message saying that it had been disconnected (obviously not). I'm not sure what "no no no" means, but I have tagged the number in my contact list as "DO NOT ANSWER 26" (yes, I have amassed 26 of these phony and scamming numbers). Imagine making a living making these calls and annoying people . . .

Wow, this post was from October 2010; well, they are still doing the same drill as our business gets the same thing multiple times.  Yes, frustrating but I am trying to remember to look at my caller ID display to ignore/deny them on my Ergo phone.

I receive calls from this number almost everyday. I normally just pick up the phone then hang up. With the feedback from others on this site I realize that the call is most likely from scammers. When they called today I hit the speakerphone button to answer the call then I just sat quietly and listened.

I could hear a bunch of people talking in the background and one woman was on a call with another person telling her to just sit back while she pushed the buttons to make all of the changes. I figured she had scammed someone and was doing her dirty deed to switch the person out of their current phone provider (perhaps from Verizon) into another one??  These people make me sick, and I wish there was a way to prevent this type of call. I waste so much of my work time every week having to answer calls like this.

If you have a speaker phone, try what I did to listen to these scammers, and get a glimpse of what goes on.

Calls from this number 702 688 5020   should be reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General.  They are scammers...

They've been calling several times daily all at different times  do not be fooled by these scammers  They have hacked into  Verizon customer information data

All office help should be aware that Verizon will not be contacting via telephone...

We got a call at our office this afternoon from this number.  
It ID'd "Las Vegas, NV."
When I answered, no one would speak.

Our company has been receiving calls from this number 702 688 5020  on a daily  basis...answer phone..say our company name and they hang up.  quite annoying if I do say  coincidentally the past couple off wks we've received calls from "Verizon" phone saying the could reduce individual line charge...
Seems these people are connected somehow and are fishing for something  -  be on top of your game!!!
These are crooks preying on busy executives..

They call us almost every day, but hang up when we answer the phone.  Very annoying and ties up our lines for real patients/customers.

Recvd a call on our 2 way emergency line, which rings on our 911 phone panel. I answered with our standard " XYZ Police, recorded line, what is your emergency" female caller "may I speak to your......oh nevermind" CLICK.... guess the way I answered sank in as she started her spiel..

Called me today saying they needed to talk to the person who handles the Verizon account. When I told them I didn't know who it was and I'd get in touch with my manager they hung up.

Call often, and are SCAMMERS claiming to work for Verizon. Don't fall for it!! Unpleasant as can be as well, especially when you call them on it. I wish I knew who they were, would love to chat with them face to face. !

I have been receiving a call from this number every other day (sometimes in the morning, sometimes in the evening around 6 pm) and there is never anyone on the other end.  I did a "call back" but the recording said that it was a "non-working number".  This repeated calling is a nuisence and is getting to me.  I am not a happy camper.  Quit calling!

THEY CALL OUR BUSINESS NUMBER AND HANG UP WHEN WE ANSWER THE PHONE

Been calling here for more than a month. Usually just hangs up. Yesterday I answered with "F**k you! and he claimed to be from verizon and ask for me by name.  Told him he had wrong number and I hung up

Claim they are from verizon. They pulled that scam in August at my business.They assured me they were from Verizon they can reduce your long distance charges. Fell for it what they did was switched my service I have with Verizon to another long distance service. Multiline Long Distance. Didn't know it until I got my next verizon bill. I reported them to Verizon switched back to Verizon. They call me today with same scam. Reported them again to Verizon security.Security said scamers are there Verizon is not calling with this promise.

Received a call from this number on October 27th, 2010 @ exactly 1:13 p.m.   Answered my phone with a simple hello, and got a Mr. Click.  I returned the phone call and was greeted with a recorded message stating that the phone was disconnected or is no longer in service.  This is the fastest disconnection or out of service response in history.  If this caller is supported by Verizon I want to know why?  Stop enabling the phone harrasment.
