I just had this call and no owne even responded.

thank god for websites like these, really. These independent scam artists are apparently very persistent. Im in NY and they've been callin all day. At least 3 times. Did not answer though. I was curious to look it up online though, because normally not many telemarketers call from the same number more than twice. I have a Verizon Wireless Pre-pay plan, and I get calls almost every other day, in weird random intervals. Completely random things they are trying to do or sell. I beleive verizon wireless sells your phone number (which is a public record, unless otherwise stated) to company's who agree to call (but not completely harass) at low frequencies.

This act's as a keep-alive, for if you answer this random phone call, that is a guarantee that verizon is getting that 1.99 or whatever it may be, daily access fee. If you didn't use your phone that day, normally you wouldn't be charged the fee. If you do happen to answer this call, thinking it may be important, bam - verizon gets that money. They are COMPLETELY all about the nickel and dime scheme's, and you can bet they put it to use in every single plan they offer.

As for this number, it is most likely a handfull of individuals using internet software and public record searches to call random numbers to try and get sensitive information. Definatly should be reported.

I recievied 2 calls in 5 minutes and both times I pressed 2 to be removed but still recieved 2 more calls after this.  On the 4th call i pressed 1 and spoke to a man that did not allow me to finish my sentence he told me to shut the f*!@! then stated that i would recieve 3 or 4 more calls.  I'm so livid about this that I've decided to do something about it, I hope that you all will as well.  I called the local police department here and filed a harrasment report, hopefully if more people do the same action will be taken.  I also called the nevada consumer affairs at 1-800-326-5202 and was advised to call the national do not call list at 1-888-382-1226 where you can register your number and if after 31 days of being on the list you continue to recieve calls you may file a complaint.  Please take action!!!

I just received a call from 702-705-5052.  Caller ID shoed it as a private caller.  I did not take the call and now I am glad that I didn't.

I think I got the same college dropout that you did, When I told him that I had pressed "2" to be removed from the call list 3 hours ago when they called, he said "Well, get ready to press it again!" and then hung up on me.  I hope that he dies a very slow, herpes and cancer related death. I hope that he finds his wife in bed with another man, and then gets to watch his mother being run over by a bus.  This guy SUCKS!!!!!!

Got several calls in a row that I didn't pick up.  They left no message.  Sounds like a world class do***ebag of a company though.

Your story sounds identical to mine except he called me an a**hole before he hung up on me!  They are the rudiest people I have ever delt with.  They have to be scammers.  At this point I hope they do call me back!

I receive at least 2 calls a day from that 7027055052 cell number.  I pressed 1 today so I could ask them why they keep calling when I press 3 every time.  The smart B*$ch said,"How's that DNCL working out for you"?  I nearly blew a fuse!  I'd like to be able to send a shock through the phone for these idiots.
What can be done about this?

If I don't recognize the number I let them leave me a message and of course this caller never-ever left a message.  Finally I decided to investigate a little further and saw your posts.  Thanks for the info, it saved me some time.  If I had the time I would've carried on a weird conversation with the caller just to annoy him but they are calling my cell phone and it's not worth wasting my minutes ;)

I've had numerous calls from these people, and each time I choose to have my number removed from their DNC list.  I just received ANOTHER one, and pressed 1 to speak with a live person about it, and as soon as I started speaking, the stupid... ummm... woman... hung up on me.  Tried calling the number back and I got that thing about being removed from their call list.

Is this the kind of job stimulus program that Congress was talking about...an increase of callers asking people if they want to improve the interest on their credit cards?  I live in Maryland just to indicate how widespread these scammers are.

some left a message as though they thought they knew, me but got a wrong number, directing me to a website re movies. i've gotten these before dealing with hot stock tips. Jesus, how bogus!!!

I receive a call from this number almost 3 times a day up until 9pm.  Now the number comes up private office.

I just got a call from this number. The recording identified them as "Card Services". I hit 1 to be connected and the guy asked me if I wanted to lower my rates on my credit cards; I asked which one and he said "Visa, Master Card, etc..". I replied, "so you dont even know what cards I have?" and he said very rudely, "do you want to lower your interest rates or not?". I then asked, "do you represent a company I am currently doing bussiness with?" and he hung up on me. Very suspicious. Suspicious enough for me to come online and try to find out if it was some type of scam.

Ah, another 702-705 number.  This time I asked for Dwight, thinking it might be the same jerks with "Account Services" that called the other day.  The minion, Roland, actually put me on hold for a minute trying to find Dwight, and came back saying he either wasn't working today or was from another company.  "Was he with Consumer Services?" he asked.  
"No, he was with Account Services", I replied, "but that's not the real company name.  He said he couldn't give that to me until he knew if I qualified."
"Oh no," the minion says, "Consumer Services is a real company."  Was I trying to consolidate my debt?  
"No, he was going to reduce the interest rate on my debit card." I responded.  
He tried to get a credit card number from me, but I was being difficult by asking more questions.  Just as he was about to tell me the website for "Consumer Services", there was a click and a recording came on that said, "Your number has been removed."

I was actually kinda disappointed, I like wasting the time of time wasters.

I received a call from this number too... i did not answer but i've been receiving this kind of calls since my friend has been arrested and had to get my phone number registered... i'm thinking they sell phone numbers to telemarketing companies. I'm in Canada and I keep receiving calls from the States.

This company called me this morning. Upon me asking how they got my numbner, their college dropout moron said some choice words and hung up. If I can get the information for this dritbag company, I would love to pursue some legal actions against them, as I have stated several times that I am on the DNC list. They use a s*** VOIP company to route their calls.
