Advance Service is still trying to scam people.
My husband wants to get rid of our timeshare so bad that he will fall for anything.
I am not a trusting person when it come to anyone calling about anything to do with timeshares.
I always come online and check it out and everytime it is the same old thing, scams.
Thank goodness for all of the information all of you are posting.

Thank you, everyone, for your comments.  I too received the call from Josh Tyler wanting me to sell my timeshare week for Meinhardt Engineering Group (Which appears to be a Singapore company) for a Nov. 21-27 meeting at the Marriott in Cancun Mexico.   I too believe it is a scam to get credit card information as well as $199.

I received a call yesterday from a person stating that a company from Germany wanted to rent my timeshare weeks for a Convention in November 2013.  She said that they needed to use my weeks to exchange through RCI to go to Cancun, Mexico. The rate that she quoted was $3600. + $750. maintenance  for a total of $4300. I have 3 weeks available with RCI.  She said that their would be a third party company Premier International that would be working with RCI  to facilitate the transfer. I was also told that RCI charged an International Exchange Fee of $199 per week to make the transfer for a total of $595. I told her that I needed to speak with RCI ,so I said that I would do it myself. She is supposed to call back today. I too received the calls from a 323 number but was told to call back to a 702 number. My husband said that it is a scam. So here I am.

Have had calls from both of these numbers....always on my cell which doesn't have very clear service where I live.  //then the caller has a very bad accent, and talks too fast..  asked them to slow down and to call on my house phone.  Also told "no upfront fees" then today they wanted permission to  charge my $199 for three weeks.  Reminded them that they said I would have a check first and have the money to pay the $199. for each week.
Also told them to call on my house phone so I could understand them.  They didn't call back...I tried to call both numbers and was told the 323 number was in the Phillipeans. Will call my card company in the morning to block whatever is trying to happen.  would love to rent out some of my points, but not too sure about this company.     Also wondered why anyone would pay so much for only a week in a hotel.

I received a call from Sophia Chanelle. She said that she worked for Advance Services and wants to pay $3600 to rent my time share to a company called Meinhart Engineering for the week of Nov. 21 thro' 27, at the Hyatt, Marriott or Regency hotels.
I could not get that week through Interval International, so Sophia told me that for $199.00 she could get some other International company to find space. I however, would have to pay $199 upfront for each week that I wanted to rent. If you receive this call do not give them any information from your credit card. Contact your timeshare company directly. As the saying goes " if it sounds too good to be true it usually is."

I got a call yesterday from Sophia Shannel with Advances Services, who also emailed me a draft copy of the rental agreement with Meinhart Engineering. Everything is the same as what has already been posted, except the convention dates are Oct 20 - 27th.  Like, most of you, I felt it was too good to be true, so I wanted to check them out. You know the old saqying - "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is".

I wanted to check out the "too good to be true offer" from Advance Services Incorporated.  I won't be duped again.  No company would ask its employees to pay $3,600 plus $750 for the maintenance fee to rent my time share week to go to a "convention" in Cancun, MX.

ID: unknown. 323-244-2134 I got a call about renting a timeshare that I don?t own.  He said he was from Advance Services Inc.  The only Advance Services Inc. on the internet is for employment or appliances. The connection was bad so I asked for a number to call them.  I was given 702-726-9143.  I told him he?d called illegally because I?m on the do not call list.  He went silent for a long time before hanging up.  323-244-2134 was disconnected.  I tried 702-726-9143.   A woman answered and got nasty and told me to stop calling.  702-726-9143 has similar complaints.  Never give any information to anyone who calls you, especially if you?re on the do not call list.  Check them out first.

YES I RECEIVED THAT SAME CALL FOR THE SAME REASON EXCEPT THEY SAID THE CONVENTION DATES WOULD BE JUNE 23-30. I PAID THEM $398 FOR TWO WEEKS RENTAL.
I SHOULD HAVE CHECKED THEM OUT MORE THOROUGHLY BUT DID NOT. I CALLED MY
CREDIT CARD TO DISPUTE THAT CHARGE AS I AM GETTING THE "RUN-AROUND" FROM
ADVANCE SERVICES. THEY SAID A CHECK AND A CONTRACT WOULD BE MAILED TO ME
SOMETIME IN MAY WHICH DID NOT HAPPEN. NOW THEY (TANYA) SAID I WOULD NOT GET
THE CHECK FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS WHICH WOULD BE AFTER THE CONVENTION. HOPE
THE CREDIT CARD COMPANY CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

That is so funny @ happy customer, are you sure you're one of their clients or you're one of the agent/ scammer?

That's bull crop, many Americans are now victim of this scam specially those people who have been hit by the economy crisis and also people who are retired/widowed/disabled and cant use their timeshare.

You know what? Timeshare rented for $3,600 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cancun Mexico? That's freaking stupid. Go online, check how much a hotel is at the Hyatt (around $100 to $150) its not even a timeshare company! They said a group of Meinhardt Engineer will rent that for their convention, why they need to pay $3,600 if they can go there and pay the Hotel to save money, instead of paying $3600, make sense right?

Please spread this news to every one specially to our relative and friends, their target, the retired, widowed and disabled and those poor people hit by crisis that can't use their timeshare. Lets help them!

Maybe someday you'll learn to speak and write the language of your victims convincingly. Instead, you will live a life of squatting in some urine-soaked boiler room looking for suckers who haven't been to this web site to learn about your FILTHY SCAM.

You are a fake and a shill, and I don't have to "assure" anybody of that since you've made it so obvious yourself!

Good day! Well I'm one of their clients. I just don't like to give out my info. Actually at first I'm kinda lurry about their offer, For me, it sounds too good to be true. I have scammed for 3x and I'm so skeptical doing that transaction, but when I receive the agreement on my email I think twice. I agree to rent my weeks and believe it or not I got my check just few weeks ago. I rent my 3 weeks with Advance Services, that's the name of the company. I don't refer you guys to do it, it's just that reading your comments about this company doesn't make me feel good at all. Its not FAKE! I assure you.

Don't believe them they actually want your credit card number at the end. The company is not their own, they are giving a site but it's a job seeking site www.advanceservices.com not connected to timeshare ,they just using that to look real. Trust me they are not legitimate company, they will scam you and get some of your money in your credit card. Their is no convention on Mexico try them when they call you again and see for your self, they are good so be carefull.... It's FAKE.

I also got the same call from Advance Services. They said they were finding weeks for a convention for Meinhardt Engineering Group in the Hyatt or Marriott in Cancun Aug 20-27. Is it a scam? Haven't found out yet, but they DO want your credit card and expiry (of course) and they ALSO want the three verification numbers from the BACK of your credit card. Which would allow them to pretend THEY were actually the card holder and holding the actual card if they were scammers. Has anyone gone through with the process? And what did you find - is it legit?

Caller said they wanted to rent my timeshare for a large sum if I transfer it to Cancun, Mexico for a convention being held there. The company is Advance Services based in Las Vegas. It would cost me $199.00 for the transfer. Is this a scam? Has anyone dealt with this company?
