I am a bookeeper at a lumber yard and have gotten calls from NY,NV and Michigan claiming we owe $500 plus dollars for a local yellow pages listing. They did record my voice  and I believe sold it to other  fraud firms. I have reported them to the better business bureau and the FCC.

Keeps calling my number.

Just one more unsolicitaed caller. I submitted them as SPAM in gVoice.

Pre-recorded telemarketing call to a business line, without proper ID of caller/phone # within message,  reported to FCC.

Keeps calling my business line which hunts to my cell phone & uses my minutes!

THE USUAL RECORDED MESSAGE TELLING ME THAT THERE IS FREE GOVERNMENT GRANT $$$.

NEVER ANSWER A 702 PHONE CALL...EVENTUALLY THEY WILL GIVE UP.

The calls are annoying. Use your caller ID and don't answer. If you do answer don't press the button to be "removed from the list". That only reinforces their list by letting them know a human actually answers that number.

Translation of the call:

"There's zillions of dollars of unclaimed government money that your government wants to *give* you.

Pay us for telling you how your legally take your own government's money.

You deserve your government's money, so you never have to pay it back, you can rip off your government  even more than we rip you off.

Better yet, just flush your money down the toilet, and save yourself the rest of this call."

I keep getting them on  our business phone    I  thank you for the   information  as I will  be  doing the same thing  it only  cost   30.00 in NJ  to   file  a motion   to the  court  thanks  again...

Here's how I handled them:  I gave them the following call back number 812-298-1194. It's "Dial a Prayer!  :-)

Another way to bug them is to give them another spam callers number like:
469-298-1194
512-502-5384

Then let them try to sell each other!

pressed 9 -- nuthin

presses # repeatedly -- switched to ringing 10-15 times

a "black girl" (yes I know it sounds like racial profiling, but it's just an observation) picked up said hello and hung up

Some scam trying to sell my business some left over government money. Call my home phone. If you get to the end, they claim you can hit 2 to get off their list. I doubt this helps.
