I receive  calls from this number twice a day. I called the number and a message said that if I'd like to be on the "Do Not Call List" leave my name and number. I hung up.

Called me by my first name. Dont know who she was. She left me a message.

The guy called asking for my Husband by his first name only...  I told him he was not available and could I take a message he said no I'll call back and I said well when would that be..  The guy said at a later date..  I told  him that later date will have to be in a year as he is over seas..... LOL he didn't say anything....  Thats what I thought!!!!!   I called back the number and Opted out of the Call List.  We'll see if that worked...

Call hang up.  Definitely a political call, which means we wake you up or interrupt your dinner -- but we are excluded from harassing you because we are political.  I got four different political calls today -- all from different phone numbers:  this one got with a *69, one that said the number was private, one that said my custom calling service was working, however ... and then one from a politician having a twitter town hall meeting tonight.  Since I do not have twitter, obviously that would not work either.  I have a life and intend to keep it.  Now ... if politicians could be added to the do not call list ... oh how quiet that would be for all of us!

I hate calls from people I don't know.  Thought this number was from UNLV/School district based on 799 prefix.

Finally broke down and bought this call blocker from  http://www.dastalk.com/ .  It is worth every damn penny I spent, you can even block entire area codes such as 888, 866, etc..  This is not a spam/advertisement for them,  I don't have any connection other than being an extremely satisfied customer.  Sucks to have to spend money to take back control of your phone, but that's how it is.

This number is going in my unit today.

Got a call from this number today asking what my political vote will go towards, will I be voting this year, and for whom and how old I was.

I got this same number 4 more times in the last two weeks.   I finally called back and got the information that it is Meyer tel services and you can either call them and ask to have your name taken off or go to their website "CallMeyer.com (?)    I have called them and warned them that this is harassment and I have reported them to the do not call list.  If it is political, the gov won't do anything as political calls are excluded.    I have also blocked their number, so they never get thru and get a disconnect

I called the number back, and got a message from Meyer Teleservices.  You can go to their website at www.callmeyer.com and have your number removed from their call lists.  You don't need to add a name or email to do so.  I tried it and will see if it works.

Just called. We picked it up, thinking it was from the school district (all their telephone numbers start with 799), they asked for my sister. Not knowing it was apparently a telemarketing call, we gave them her number.

I have been keeping records over the last 4 months.   received more than 30 calls not just from this number but a  lot of telemarketing calls, debt calls,credit card reduction fees etc.  now i am getting calls on my cell phone which uses up minutes.   registered both with do not call list and reported to FTC.

I've gotten calls repeatedly from this number. Have been getting unwanted calls from this number for awhile.  They said it was a from voter registation and that the call would be recorded.

My mom and I were talking about this the other day; she said that you have to re-register each year. I've never heard that, nor did I check on the website when I registered again, but not like it's going to hurt to re-do the process. Registering a # takes all of 2 minutes, & they send the confirmation email immediately so you can use a disposable email service if you'd rather not give your daily one out to yet another organization. (& yes, I'm aware it would be the height of irony to get a spammed inbox from the national do-not-call site haha ? I just put it out there for those who may be wondering.) Now I'm just waiting for the 30 days to pass before I can expect to stop receiving b***s*** calls multiple times everyday!! This better work:)

I've gotten a call from this number 20 times since the middle of February.  I don't pick up, and they never leave a message. Today is the last straw, as they have called me ELEVEN TIMES this morning starting at 10 am.  It is now 12:25 pm and I'm really annoyed, wondering how many more times they will call today. Does anyone have a clue who these people are?

I answered thinking it was a school district call, and after a few minutes someone came on the line and asked if I could take a survey.  I politely said no and hung up.

A women she identified herself as Christine calling for PBR looking for someone Crome our household. I tell her he isnt here I ask if I can take a message she says no message goodbuy. That occurs at lest once a week. I had to ask why she was calling and who she was with to get all that info from her other wise i would have never had gotten all that.

Got a call from this number this morning.  The message they left on my answering machine was a dead dial tone.

Called 2day. No mssg on voicemail. Caller ID shows just that it is a NV call.

Has called once or twice a day on caller id.  Never when anyone is home.

799 numbers are usually school numbers and I am a teacher so wondering who is calling.

WTF ever happened to the "Do not call registry", I am signed up and have been signed up for years and still get unsolicited calls.

I just called this number back (because they keep calling and never leave a message) and reached a recording stating "you have reached Meyer Teleservices do not call request line.  Most likely we called you on behalf of one of our political or business clients.  If you wish to have your number added to our do not call database, please speak slowly and leave your phone number area code first, thank you."

Calls nightly and doesn't leave a message.  When my roommate said I wasn't home they hung up.  Didn't ask for me by my full name, only first name.

I didn't answer and no message was left.
