Called me telling me they were going to have sex with my mom

We do not ask for your credit card by the way if u would listen to the whole call also we are trying to help the Breast Cancer research and support fund and we are courtesy call on behalf of this charity. It is not a courtesy call and having had a aunt die of this very disease it makes me sick when I hear people think that helping these women is a scam as well as by helping them they are taking a chunk out of their lives. I know everything there is to know about how these women are feeling and what they go through. I had to watch my aunt lose your mind as well as put us in the poor house so if we can help these women just alittle then I would donate everyday. Also let me just tell you if you do not want these calls just ask to be put on the do not call list like Mike that will fix it. As to why there is no messege left on your machine we do not have time to give you one and it would defeat the perpous of helping these women by wasting our time on someone who is not home. I turn the ringer off and flat don't answer the phone.  I do not use my cell phone number for any charities or purchases.  My friends call me on my cell. Businesses call, but leave messages on my landline.  I don't recognize a number, I just delete it.  Sick of all those calls.

called about 7:30pm.  Screen said V00815573900238 instead of naming a caller.  Hung up before my voice mail got it.  Apparently some sort of robocall.  

This "Courtesy Call" number is a robot that asks for you by your listed name.  It can recognize speech and some words and attempts to con you into donating money for "worthy" causes.  They are pure scum scammers and should be arrested by the FTC.  Too bad our government is polluted with morons that are too lazy or on the take to fix the problem.  Fire them all!

The way most of the "police" charities work, about 10% of your donation, maybe even less, goes to help police.  The rest lines the pockets of the boiler room that is making the calls.

I do things like this, too.  If I am in the mood I will make up random and weird conversation....just stupid stuff like pretending they are the pizza I ordered, or a grocery store, or retail (like Nordstrom).  If there is a live person, that is.  I will also make up names and off donations, my account numbers, etc.  I try to appear very legit by not overreacting.  If anything, they can share with their coworkers or family how they dealt with a nut case on the phone at work.  The call tonight was automated I'm pretty sure, as I was literally screaming so they could 'hear' me.

702-802-6700 - I thought it was an recorded call, but the 'person' asked 'Do I sound that bad today?' and also laughed a couple of times.  However, I do believe this was all recorded.  They said they were calling on behalf of the police fund for fallen officers' families.  I tried asking which one, but then I would get the laugh and also the 'person' would say something as if they cannot hear or understand me.

I answered, they are paid to gather money for breast cancer. I hung up.

Calls every night.  I do not answer as I do not recognize the number.

Asked for "James" (me). Courtesy call for donations to veterans. Asked to be removed from their list since I've got about a dozen charities calling for donations. I donated to one and the onslaught began.

Asks for the head of the house....when asked who is calling, line goes dead.

Called and hung up when I didn't answer, although caller ID says Courtesy Call.  I actually called back, and their phone has been busy.  I want to tell them to please not call again.  I certainly will not speak with any organization who cannot leave a message.  It's probably a scam, certainly makes you think that anyway right?  

I've been looking into these calls. I found the companies website. They seem to be a professional fund raiser/telemarketer/survey company. I went to their website www.courtesycall.com and called their main number 702-388-2999 and asked to be put on their do not call list... No more calls from them since then.

They just called, 8:30 PM on a Sunday.  Caller ID said Courtesy Call????  Anyway I picked up and they asked for my husband by name,  when I asked who was calling, they said "OH well we can talk to either of you"  Again I asked who was calling and she said "This is a courtesy call, from Courtesy call."  That tells me absolutely nothing.  Then she starts into something about cancer.  I hung up in mid sentence. I then blocked the number.  As far as I am concerned it is a scam caller wanting my credit card number and that is all.

Phone rang at almost 9 PM tonight.  Since we have kids and grandkids, any time the phone rings after, say, 8 PM, it's always scary.  Our family know not to call after about 8:30, so my first thought when the phone rings is that there is some emergency.

Hubby was in another room and picked up the extension the same time I answered...luckily for the caller, who would otherwise have gotten a piercing, ear-splitting whistle in his ear.  As it was, I told him he had a lot of nerve calling us at this time of night before I called him an a**hole and hung up on him.

I don't take kindly to being frightened by a nighttime phone call.

I get a call from this number once a day late in the afternoon ---- I never answer.

Have received numberous calls in the last week with this number on the caller ID on my personal cell phone.  I got frustrated and answered today and asked who it was that was calling and all she said was "Rebecca" and when I asked to take a message or who she was she said she would call back.  How can I report them to get the calls to cease?

Calls are coming in from 702-802-6700, Caller ID reads Courtesy Call. This is a repeating issue, from this and a few other numbers, but I don't answer the line if the first time my Hello goes to dead air space. The greatest volume of calls seem to come from people claiming to be with Google this or that.
As "Joe" above, who is also obviously into conspiracy theories,  has pointed out, some things you can act on and other things you are best off ignoring.
I personally have found that occasionally acting like a 10 year old can be useful in eliminating a pesky caller while keeping my blood pressure happy.  For example, do you know how annoying it is for their call system to get a series of # beeps in quick succession? I have taken some small, nasty delight in venting through making that noise more annoying than getting the original call. However, hitting the # sign repeatedly until it disconnects usually gets the results you seek. After all, the idea is to reach someone to scam, and I'm deliberately wasting their time by keeping a line engaged a little longer.  I've actually taken the phone with me to the stove so I could continue to stir my gravy while making time to press # about 20 times and have even come to see such calls as a free and safe venue for the expression of hostility or anger. Of course, I know better than to give people personal info of any sort. I just sometimes choose to waste their time in return for them wasting mine. :) (evil laugh).

I have received numerous calls from 702 ? 802 ? 6700 between 8 and 9 PM. They are Robo calls and I let the answering machine pick up, but they never leave a message.
