got a call from 702-889-4467 - recently posted an ad on craigslist and on autotrader

My solution to this.

I post the name of the company and phone number in my AD on Craig's List.   That lets everyone know what this company is doing that also that I will NOT have anything to do with this company.

I also go to customer survey websites and write the company up,  so if anyone is looking for information on this company,  they will find it and know of the unethical business practice of using Craig's List to harvest customers.   It CLEARLY says on Craig's list that it is not for services or commercial purposes yet these companies see to think they do not have to follow the rules.  

I have also been thinking about informing them that I do not want calls from them.   Then if they call me more than 31 days of notification,  I can file a federal complaint against the for violating the DO NOT CALL rules.   I think there is a nice fine involved with that but not sure.  If this kind of crap keeps happening,  I will look it up.  Who knows,  a person could make some big bucks off companies like this if they call you after you tell them not to.

these guys are liars too. when i asked them to stop calling me with their automated marketing, the guy said they only use live people. total crap.

Received a call from 702-889-4461. This was a day after I listed my car in the auto trader.

One stop motors has been calling me for the last 2 weeks since I posted my car for sale on craigslist.  I have asked to be removed from their list 3 times and they still continue to call me.  They are a complete ripoff.  Stay away from them.

Two calls today 7/15/2008 First call I stayed on the line and it ask me if I wanted it remvoed from the calling list I did as was asked. Later tonight they called back same recording with no options. I called back no answer. Then called back on a land line they answered. I voiced my opinon.

I got a call form them and they got my number from ebay motors where I sold a vehicle.

Yep, One Stop Motors.  And I had an ad on Craig's list as well.  Good thing I used my GrandCentral.com number!

Yeah, One Stop Motors. I just posted a car for sale yesterday, got a call from them today.

CALLED AND NO ANSWER WHEN I PICKED UP

Got a missed call from this number.  The automated voice left a message on my machine.  The company is called One Stop Motors.  They focus on financing verhicles.  must have gotten my number from the auto-trader or my ad posted on craigslist.
