Keeps calling . . . telemarketer?

Asked for me by name upon answering the phone. When I confirmed my identity, they hung up on me.

Let it go to voice mail. No message. Apparently its a Nevada area code.

Receiced this call - caller asked for me by my full formal first name.  Identified himself from a marketing company.  I told him he had the wrong number.

Called at 9:30pm and hung up immediately when I answered to chew them out

Below is the job descriptions of the idiots who are making the call.   If you want to get rid of these type of people, install oom phone.  They have a blacklist of all these types of callers.  When a new on appears, it is added for everyone else.  When I put a number of the blacklist, it tells the caller that this lines has been disconnected.  And it never lets the call through again.

They called me at 11 PM about a stupid survey.

Called at 10:00pm!!!!  When I informed them that my husband was not at home and that they could place me on the do not call list they said that only my husband could do that since that is who they were contacting.

I answered the phone. Caller asked my name. I gave confirmed my name. He hung up - disconnected call. This is the second time that this has happened. The voice of the caller is same person. I could hear in the background noise as though marketing sales people were talking. I am displeased with the invasion of my privacy.

again another caller going against the "do not call registry." Seriously thinking of doing away with land phone.

Gee I totally wish I did not pick up, the last thing I need is telemarketers to call my house and bug the crap out of me.

I just received a call 2 seconds ago for an opinion...so weird because I have never given out my # to anyone Caller ID came up as Opinion Poll. The lady was nice...I should have listened to get some details.

It just occurred to me, they're phishing...calling a list of sequential numbers and verifying ones that get answered by a live person... a verified phone list sells for more to the telemarketers than an unverified one!

I've received several calls from them today, no messages left and their "system is busy" every time I tried to call them.

Saved the number as "Las Vegas Pain In The @$$" so I'll know it's them when they call back... ;)

Called my number but they did not leave any message. Why are these people calling those who are in the Do Not Call list?

Called my number.  I saw these notes.  I did not answer.  Do not know why this person would call my number.

Same with me.  Heard background noise then they hung up.

I answered phone with "please put me on your do not call list".  The man's reply was "I can't hear you".  I said it again, he repeated "I can't hear you."

Apparently a tactic they are taught.  Scum.
