advertised car for sale on craigs list, they call and want to sale car for a 500 fee - we're in north carolina and they're calling from Nevada - they want a credit card # immediately - no way are we paying them for something that is free, or giving them a credit card # they would use anyway they wish, and they're calling against craigs list rules - no commercial interests - just hang up and sale locally at no expense to you

I received a call from this number, too.  They asked for a $199 fee for selling the vehicle.  They offer financing and the guy said that's how they make their money.  Maybe their program has changed since asking $500 to sell it.  I want to sell the car, any help would be nice.  A little skeptical, I figure someone interested in buying a vehicle would have their own means of finance...  I will listen to the rest of his pitch and review the proposal.  Not happy about them working against craigslist rules.

Same number called me wanting me to raise the price of my truck and some BS song and dance about financing. Tell them if they want the truck then they can buy it and sell it themselves. This is BS and nothing else.

Had a van on craiglist and said he promised and guranteed he can sell my car for more than what its worth and fast.  I think his name was matt.  He would only charge me a one time fee of $199.  Called many times... its sound too good to be true.
