Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Called 8 times today starting this Sunday morning.  Hung up on me 6 of the 8 times I answered.  Other 2 times told me my MasterCard had been compromised.  SCAM.  I hate these b*****ds!  I hope they burn in hell, because I have 3 small children and this # calls all times during the day and late late at night.  Sometimes at midnight!!!  B*****ds!!!!

Got a call from this number an didnt answer, called it back, a "discontinued" number. Probably a scam

Someone from this number called my home stating they were wanting to guide me through protecting my computer.  That there was malicious activity being reported.  I advised I believed it was a scam and could I have a number to call back to....he provided 302-669-9061.  It was an Indian sounding gentleman and there was quite a bit of loud banging in the background, as well as other talking.  My caller ID said varun123

Number called asked for "Mrs. William"
First took long time getting on line (warning 1)
Second called me Mrs. William wrong last name (warning 2)
Third said I was having issues with my computer and might have been hacked(warning 3)
They wanted access to my computer(Yeah NO) My husband is in the computer industry...
I explained to them they called the wrong person as they will get no phishing here.
I hung up.....

Received a call from this # 5 min. ago.  That my "garbled" debit card was cancelled and to re-instate, press one.  I never believe this garbage.

The guy on the line was very hard to understand, so I couldn't hear what company he said he was calling from, but said he was calling about my computer.  I told him he had the wrong number, then he said no, they were getting messages from my computer on their servers. I hung up at that point.

Just called my cell claiming that my Master Card had been blocked due to fraudulent activity.  The recording then asked me to enter my CC number (which I did not do!).  Clearly something illegal.

Got call on cell from this number..didn't answer. Hour earlier got call from unknown number. Left vm saying hold was put on MC & I needed to press 1. Didn't do it..don't even have MC.

VERY weird noises - VERY foreign voice telling me he was a Microsoft Technician - did not let him go further - told him that the web has been alive with scam reports.   Hung up

This number called and said my debit card had been lost ... funny since I have it right here in my hand. How stupid do  they think we are?

Today, I got the call from this number. 702-998-3416

They said they were from MasterCard Debit Accounts 702-998-3416

A female computer voice gave me a warning " We have noticed some activity on your MasterCard debit  account and have restricted the card. To gain access have use of the card, please press "1", Now enter your 16 digit card number.

I entered 1111-1111-1111-1111, hoping to get the "Error in the number, please enter again or press * to a rep", nope never did and it kept asking for me to enter the card number.

Three things tipped me off to this being purely a scam to high-jack CC numbers.

1) no name of the Bank or CC company
2) No way to get to a representative
3) I don't have a MasterCard Debit card...SCAMMMMMMMMMM

" This is *mumble-mumble* reporting suspicious activity on your MASTERCARD account.  It has been locked.  To unlock it now please press1 ..."

Great news since I DON'T have a MASTERCARD.

I Got voice-mail from this number (I don't pick up if I don't recognize the number; important callers will leave a message) on my cell.  The message said:

What a surprise since I don't have a MASTERCARD!

I have an even *stranger* one.....
My home phone comes up randomly as that number on peole's caller ID..
I have a land line, not a cell phone...

I am no where *near* Las Vegas....never been there, don;t know anyone there..

Received a call from 702-998-3416 at 6:30 Am this morning on my cell phone. No caller ID.  Is this a scam?

Received a call from this number at 2:22am! Husband told them he was turning them into the Attorney General's office.

Automated call to my cell phone saying my debit card had been blocked, and that I needed to dial 1 to be connected to security department.  Knew it was a scam, but pressed 1 anyway to see what would happen.  Was instructed to dial 1 again to connect to security.  Pressed 1 again, and the automated voice asked for my 16-digit card number.  I hung up and went to my card provider's website to report--but my provider already had a warning posted about this scam.

Phishing scam advising my MC Debit card (which I don't have) has been compromised.  Called my office line.

Called but hung up when I answered.

Called me twice today and said they were with a Cash company and I was approved for a loan up to $5000-10000. I asked them BOTH times to take me off their list. They hung up :(

Just saw a missed call on my work cell phone, and realized they called at 12:06 AM!

Recording claiming my MasterCard debit card ( that I don't have ) has been locked. To please enter my card number...

Said she represented an electric company and that I was entitled to an immediate rate reduction with my next meter reading. I asked if she represented my electric company and she said no and I discontinued the call

They called my grandma saying I got in a wreck, had one beer and broke my nose.  And claimed they didn't have my son with them, but couldn't tell her what vehicle they were in. They said there in Robert county jail in Oklahoma needing bail money! After my grandma said she wasn't helping they hung up, and now we can no longer get through to the phone number it says it's no longer in service. Called the sherriffs office and they said its a scam! Don't fall for their b***s***!

Every time I get a new smart phone these same calls start coming in again. Upgrade to a smart phone and begin blocking every # all over.
