Operation Smile calls me multiple times every single week day, from 8am until as late as 9pm. Next time I'm home when they call, they will be told very directly to f-u-c-k off.

DITTO !! These people need to loose thier non profit status. More like bill collectors than a charity!!

I stopped giving to them also..I gave money to them once and been bombarded with phone calls even since after telling them never to call back..They are telemarketers that work for OP Smile and really try to pressure you in to giving something..I told them I don't have any money and my finaces are in turmoil and they said common you must have an extra 20-50 dollars to give..They act like street people begging for change..I will NEVER donate to this so called charity again !!

This number, 703-229-5509, is from Operation Smile. They claim that they will take you off the list, but they never do. Liar, liar, liar! They have called 5 times in two days.

I am so glad that I found this out. I get calls all during the day and when I try to call back the phone is busy. Ii donated to them several times, but I will not do so any more. I am going to write their organization and let them know they are treating people like a bill collector would treat them.

This same number called me many times in a 2-week period. I've learned not to answer unknown numbers, and so I didn't pick up and let it go to voicemail each time. However, they never leave a message. Finally, today, I let my guy friend pick up the phone (my personal body guard, haha), which caught the male caller off-guard because he stuttered and didn't say a word! A woman suddenly came on the phone and asked for "Ms. --" (not my name). Then said, sorry, wrong number. No mention of Operation Smile. I'm guessing Operation Smile is a phony company they sometimes use when they call people.

Operation Smile has been tormenting us for months now. We had donated to them twice, and, now, they won't take No for an answer. They are a miserable organization who apparently, are not satisfied that someone digs into their wallets a couple of times, they want to bleed you to death!

Has been calling daily with no message. I finally picked up tonight. Silence for a few seconds then they asked for me. I asked who's calling? They said is this Mr. x? I said WHO's calling? They identified themselves as operation smile, a worldwide charity for children. I hung up. I don't donate to anyone any more unless I know for sure some company they hired to solicit for them isn't going to hang on to most of my donation.

I also will never donate to Operation Smile--they receive poor ratings, plus they harass me several times a day even though I've requested that they stop calling me.

These jerks call aout three times a day. one or two rings, never a paerson on the phone when it is answered. "operation smile" must be a scam from toothy Osama Obama Obummer.

I also am getting all these calls from Operatiuon Smile and Pat Byers. I stopped donating to almost all political requests so how do you block these calls. The do not call list is worthless.

They're at it again, calling several times a day and night, Operation Smile and its minions, calling from this number and others. They will do this for months now and then stop a bit, then they're back. If I block one number they'll just use another. They harass my father with calls too. I'll never answer and never donate to Operation Smile again--you'll be sorry if you do. I warn everyone I know.

Stop robocalling... This is why I always stop donating to organizations like this, I always get spammed with mail and calls.
| ChuckCPA 2012-08-21 16:04:22 Unknown |
@who - I've noticed the same thing...the robocalls or scam calls seem to come in pairs. The first call will have all Caller ID information suppressed. I don't answer, and within 30 seconds or so, I get another call from an obviously phony name (like Operation Smile) and an area code that I never deal with. The jerks never stop trying, do they?

703-229-5509, Caller ID says it's 'Operation Smile'. I had just gone into my wonderful Panasonic phone and Blocked a bunch of SCAM callers, from the past week or so, when suddenly my phone started ringing for just 1 ring. A minute later, just 1 ring again and so on. (The phone has to have time to first identify that it's a number calling which you have Blocked). Well, all the 1 rings finally stopped, and poof! Within the next minute or so, I am now getting this 'Operation Smile' call. So I gather they just switched over to try us from a different number. But I have now Blocked this new # from calling us, also.
