number shows up on caller id, no one is there.

Call came in by a computer automated voice claiming I had a debit to pay. Since I KNOW I do not have any kind of debt to pay, I let he voice mail pick it up.  DC

Like the previous info on this page, the caller was computer and said that I had some kind of debt. Since I know I have no such debt or have ever had, I ignored the call. I'm on a do not call list also. I guess it don't work. If the call comes back, I'll answer and give them a piece of my mind and let them know I'm not in any kind of debt. Geez....

Through a little detective work I found out that this company is ACEI American Collections Enterprise Inc

have had repeated calls from this # for better than a year. If you don't answer, within 15-20 mins it calls back, leaving the same message on VM

This number called and said that I was in debt and they were calling to collect from me.  It was a automated computer voice that repeated my name.  They did not leave any other information about the collection other than a number that I was suppose to call.  If I wanted to talk to someone they said press 1.  I did so only to get a message repeated over and over "please hold while we transfer your call"
