Came home to find this number on my caller ID.  They didn't have the courtesy to leave a message.

It's fruitless to be asked to be taken off their call list.
The Do Not Call registry is similarly useless.
Their numbers are probably spoofed.

I have been getting harrassing phone calls from this direct marketing credit card company for well over a year.  It is the same company, but they change the numbers from time to time to cover their identity.  I have reported them to the FTC, FCC, BBB, & as of late, the law enforcement agencies in my state.  The calls have gone well past harrassment.  If someone knows of their origin / address / physical location, pass it back to me, & I'll make sure the proper law enforcement agencies get it & put an end to this criminal activity.

Thanks to my new Panasonic phone system I was able to block the number so next time they try to call they'll get a busy signal. I don't have to pay any fees either for call blocking. I think the call was in bad taste since now the nation is focused on the Hurricane Sandy aftermath. Obama is trying his best to get things in order that he can't focus on the re-election. He's focusing on the needs not the wants. Both parties are blocked on my phones. Favoritism is not in this home.

Recorded political call for Romney, hung up on the recording didnt care to listen to the message. Received 3 calls in less than 20mins.

This is another (probably spoofed) number being used by scammers pretending to seek political oriented contributions.   But, they will just pocket whatever they scam you out of.

I answered and it was a recorded message in Spanish.  That's insulting!  I don't live in Mexico, or any other Spanish speaking country for that matter.  Speak English!

These calls are much more likely scam than political.   The Romney campaign (or Obama or whoever they claim to be seeking contributions for) will likely never see a dime of whatever these crooks collect.

The "703" calls (that don't allow a call-back by you) are made by a computer and are often recorded political appeals for votes and money. The customer purchases temporary use of the number which may be owned by someone else. This hour today it may be Candidate X, tomorrow afternoon it may be someone else. Beware also of similar one-way calls from area codes 202 and 207.

Just got a call from this number.  No ID, no message.  Just aggravation.

This was a recorded message asking for donations to Mitt Romney... trying to raise $50 Million to get out conservative voters in the aftermath of Sandy.  I'm a solid Dem donor, so they must be doing random calls.

I just got a call from them - don't know anyone in VA so didn't answer.  Yesterday I received a text message and I don't know how the politicos got my number!! I blocked them.

Can't wait till this election is over, most annoying one yet!

I got a call this morning from this number asking for donation by pressing 1 on the phone. I was a Mitt Romney campaign raising company.  These people need to stop calling and asking for donation just like that. It's annoying. I call the number back and it's disconnected.  How can a disconnected phone be in service like that?

Another political message, looking for money and playing on sympathies b/c of Hurricane Sandy.  They're all DB's, whether they have a D or R after their name.  Sadly, this country is going to hell.
