Received text message from 703-309-522, saying I had won $1000 Walmart gift card.

Same scam text for $1000 gift card. 703-309-5255.
Why can't the government shut these criminals down??????

text message saying I won Free $1,000 WalMart Gift Card and to go to promocenter.ws/walmart and enter WALL.
Didn't do it, while I have done numerous surveys in hopes of winning one of these it clwarly states If I winn I would be contacted by mail.

There is no gift card.  Its a scam.  Identity thieft.

If you talk to the caller he will ask for a bank account number or credit card number or credit card number to cover shipping and handling.  He will spend all of your money.  He will never send you a gift card.

Just got the same text. SCAM!!!

I got the same text, so I checked walmart's website.
Here's what it said:
Walmart Gift Card Text Message Scams - March 9, 2012
In the last few days there has been a sudden increase in scam text messages referring people to a site where they can ?claim a Walmart Gift Card? by entering certain private personal information. These attacks that take place through SMS Text message technologies to personal mobile phones are scams and are in no way sponsored by or affiliated with Walmart.

Same thing. $1000  Walmart gift card.
