I too had a fraudulent charge on my credit card for $11.89 referencing this number as Monrovia Designs.

same here, we were charged $11.89 on our charge card...called the number and voice mail box full...they sent a letter back to our bank disputing our dispute citing, "Our Business is based on trust;" and signed the letter "support team" Monrovia Incorporated with this phone number...we reported to the FBI and to our evening news TV station...suggest everyone do the same

They also have another number-603-684-2346.  I got two $11.98 charges on my bank statement and called my bank who gave me this number.  I called and got an answering machine but they listed an email address for "faster" service.  I emailed them and actually got a response within a couple of hours saying they would reverse the charges but then asked if I was the only one with access to my debit card.  Here is the email address: support@mi-webdesign.com.  They said the charges would be reversed in 3 to 4 days so we'll see.

no one called us or did we authorize this Fraudulant charge on our debit account for 11.49.  These people need to be caught and fast!!!!

it is a fraud charge-call your credit card company- i have Chase & they said they have had several complaints on it & removed it right away

I got a charge too...but mine is for $11.49....have any of you gotten word on what to do?  I didn't get a call from that number...but have had several suspicious numbers call lately...I wonder if its the same company...

I had the same problem.  Credit Card company originally filed as a disputed charge.  I called them back and said it was fraud so my account is closed with a new card on the way.

Same thing here in FL.  Did not receive a call.  Checked my cc statement and there it was.  $11.89 from AL on 5/21.  Never heard of them and I hate paying for something I didn't order.  Called my cc and they cancelled my card and will issue a new one.  They had never heard of Monrovia Designs.  I told them to look them up online and read all these emails.

Same thing here, no idea who they are but a charge was put on my debit card 5/16 for the $ 11.89.  I never received a call from them either, the only ph # I ever give out is my cell # too.  Bank statement said Monrovia designs ph# 703-348-7199 in Alabama.  The phone # is bogus goes right to a really bad ans msg.

This just happen to me in florida and i called the bank and filled a report to the sheriff office. I never heard of them untill i got abill from my cc.and they work out of huntsville alababma

Same thing here in Redlands, California....  got a charge on my credit card from MONROVIA DESIGNS for $11.89   Had to cancel card.  The number is just a voicemail.  SO GLAD I LOOKED IT UP ON GOOGLE to find out this is an across the board scam, because I thought it was just me.  I don't know who else to contact other than my bank either.

I got a charge on my debit card from this "company" for 11.98.Never heard of them and did not make any purchase.

Had $11.49 charge to my PayPal Charge Card.  These things have tight security too.  Filed claim and cancelled card.

Sue, I just had a charge just like that from a major bank in St. Cloud.  I also live here and just had this charge show up.  I had the same amount show up, too.  I'm going to be disputing it TODAY!

Had a charge from Monrovia Designs in February for $12.79. Since I check my credit card statement every other day, I caught this charge and reported it to my CC company they cancelled the card and issued me a new card.  Checked my CC acount today and again there is a charge for the same amount.  I take extra care to make sure I dont visit unauthorized site. This something that banks and credit card companies need to address.

A $12.95 charge on my Chase card.  How in the f are they doing this and geting away with it?  Can you imaging how many people just scan their statements or not look at them at all.  With an amount this small, ez to just blow it off.  It can go into the millions for them over time.
I just canceled my card and will go on from here.  I am going to send an email to all in my address book.

Just think, it is not a large amount but if they hit enough credit cards at $11.89 each, they could have thousands of dollars per month. It is a small enough amount that a lot of people may never notice it. I had to stop my credit card and get another one. There are too many thieves out there. It was monrovia designs.

Monrovia Designs 703-3487199 AL was charge on my card. THanks to all of you on here as I knew immediately my suspicions that this was not our charge was correct and we cancelled.  I wanted to put this out there to see if there was any commonalities in companies that may have been "hacked"  I bought recently online from: Lands End, Paypal, an out of town charge/contracted company for my daughter's camp, and E.L.F. a company supposedly bought out by nordstroms that was selling their make up cheap.
