Has been consitently calling my house. but will not leave a message. I don't pick up phone for numbers i don't recognize

BE WARNED: Not all of these calls are the NRA.  There is a slimy CA (Collection Agency) illegally spoofing the NRA's phone number in order to get people to respond to the call.

Calls and won't say anything and then hangs up........who is this? Scammers maybe?

This is the National Rifle Association calling.  They always ask for my husband and I always tell them he isn't available.  They want a donation.

Call frequently, let it ring 3 or 4 times, don't leave a message.  Who the heck is it?  I'm on the donotcall list!

I too just now received a call.  When I answered, there was silence, then click - the line went dead.

Same thing here. Number keeps calling but when I answer, they hang up on me.

A debt collection agency that is somehow displaying NRA's phone no. They were looking for my son .

It's the NRA calling. When you became a member you gave them your phone number on the application.  Call them back or just tell them to stop calling.,

I'm glad someone answered for all of us.

It is from the NRA ( National Rifle Assoc.)wanting a donation. We have told them numerous times to not call back, and delete our number. That don't stop them, they keep calling. They are a bunch of MONEY GRUBBERS.

Please leave message so we can know who you are and what you want. It is unnerving to recievbe numerous calls and  no messages. If you can't be courteous and leave a message then you get the message and take our number out of your call list. We are on the do not call list. Thank you.

It was a call from the NRA, some kind of an opinion pole is what he said.

Has called two days in a row.  No one answers and leaves no message.  FCC needs to investigate this phantom caller.

Called on 12/23/10 8:23pm. 703 is the same area code as my w***e ex wife. don't think there's any connection though.

Calls my house several times a week. No one on the phone no responce.

Call came in on 12/22 at 5:00PM - three rings and no message left on the machine.

Call came in "unavailable".  Whow is it?

Called Saturday about 9:30 AM. I don't answer the phone unless I know the caller. They did not leave a message on the answering machine

Received a call from this number today asking for my husband. I asked them if I could take a message and they said no message. Tried to search the number with no luck. Called it back and it went straight to music and then hung up on me.
