WHO IS THIS CALLER WHO IS FROM STERLING, VA THAT KEEPS TRYING TO CALL ME BUT NO MESSAGE LEFT. UGH OMG. WHO THE HECK IS THIS

Have received two calls in two days. I also thought it was a human voice at first. How do we stop this company from doing this?

Same type call as reported below, medical equipment delivery paid for, but from 971-300-4514 number. How can we stop these scammers?

Need to report this one to the authorities.  Scammer who leaves recorded message that he needs to ship a medical alert device that has been paid. Trying to get personal info obviously.  Called multiple times. Checking into where to report the caller now.

Oh its a free medical alert device. Fully paid for including the shippping. What they don't tell you is that there is a monthly fee that goes along with that. Once you get it into your house you have to sign up for the monthly service or it doesn't get connected to the emergency service line. Been getting this call every other day for months.

I have been getting this call about every other day for about two weeks. It sounds like a prerecorded smooth talking scam artist telling me that the Medical Alert  device that I requested has been approved and paid for including free shipping. Just push number ? on your phone to receive it and of course I hung up.The number was listed on my caller I D so today I decided to call it back to tell them to stop calling my number and surprise, after a few sounds like a fax machine the operater said that this number was no longer in service. but yet they are able to continue to call with the intent of scamming people.I am on the do not call list, you would think that the Federal Communications agency could do it's job and put a stop to these scam artist.

Yes just as the other posts, it's John, the delivery guy for "medical alert"  I will now watch for the Sterling,VA. number on my caller ID, but this should be a high Scam alert for others.

Elderly aunt received this call and asked if we purchased the "I can't get up" merchandise for her.  The recording stated shipping and materials were paid in full.  Luckily, she declined and hung up.

This number has called my several times and when I try to call back, it doesn't go through.  A big red flag when I can't return the call.  Please look into this number please (703) 544-9402.  Thank you.

Doesn't do much good to block or divert these b*****ds; they just switch numbers.  In the last few months, I have been called by them from 703-539-6016, 703-586-6911, 540-904-1072, and 434-533-4061.  After a few calls from a number, I used my call forwarding to send their calls to the Virginia Tea Party number.  Doesn't do much good but I really enjoy dong it.

Cold call robo caller with recorded message selling senior medical monitoring services

I do not know who this person is.  They keep calling and not leaving a message.  When I try to call back it says I cannot dial the number in this way.  I am on the do not call list

spam/fraud call from 703 544 9402
This call came the day after I called Medicare.  This is the second time this co-incidence has occurred. I also received the same call shortly after I contacted United Healthcare.

This number calls frequently, I never have a chance to answer. If I do happen to be available , I'm glad to know beforehand what they want. Thanks for the post.

Unwanted call

You couldn't interrupt him because it is a recording with limited voice recognition for responses.  Towards the end you would have had options to press a number to confirm delivery or press another number to decline.  The person(s) who obviously "cares" about you is none other than the company supplying the equipment. They  are the ones who "paid" for the order and shipping.  They make their actual money on the monthly monitoring fees and installation costs, the latter of which probably include the actual cost of the equipment but you will not see that itemized on the invoice.  There have been numerous reports on this latest scam of the elderly in various media outlets throughout the country.

Just got a phone call saying they wanted to set up delivery on an emergency system that has already been paid for.  I told them no, they had the wrong number, and they said obviously someone who cares about us, or who has been in a situation where they couldn't get in touch with emergency officials ordered it for us.  After trying to interrupt 5 times to tell him no, I finally hung up.

This is coming in from a local number, but obviously a call center trying to hard-sell some sort of emergency alert device. They said a system had already been ordered, and when they refused to take ?no? for an answer, I hung up on them!

keeps calling, same message everyone else is getting.  Something should be done about these people

caller said i had free medical supplies and wanted to know where to send them ..i just hung up ..

Just received a call from this number - caller ID reads "Sterling, VA".  Like everyone else, Medical Alert shipment confirmation.  TOTAL SCAM.  I have to say, I really thought I was speaking to a live human.  How absolutely annoying.  Number is now blocked on my phone.
