I agree and they were polite so I will give them credit for that but it was apparent there was political bend. They are or were hired by lefty demorats touting Obamacare non-sense. "don't you agree it's good thing"...um no it's a disaster.  The 10 minute survey could have been completed in 30 seconds saving my time and theirs.

Well, if you had done even just ONE internet search on the subject. What the nice market research lady meant by, "I'm not selling anything" is, The Do Not Call list only applies to people who are calling to "Solicit" or to "sell" Something. I put that in quotations because you seem to be confused as to what the word means. When people are calling you to take a survey, they aren't trying to "sell" you anything. Therefore, the Do Not Call list doesn't apply to them by LAW.......Idiot!

Statistics are not important?? Well, there are businesses that want statistical data. And it wouldn't be accurate without a random selection of registered voters. They aren't trying to be a nuisance, they really are just doing their job, and isn't it nice that they provide work? Annoying perhaps, but they really are just trying to collect data and gather opinions, some small way for the average American to be heard and have their input. If you don't want to participate, you're thinning the sample and that is your prerogative, but be nice. They aren't trying to sell you anything, or distribute your opinions.

The Do Not Call List does not include research surveys. No solicitation, and not selling anything, so it is legal for them to call.

Rec'd call from this number but couldn't ID the company.  ANNOYING.  Let's change the law people and get rid of ALL nuisance and political and charitable phone calls.  They are UNNECESSARY in this day and age.  Hey, if you are reading this msg, look into a new search engine.  duckduckgo.com.  Bad name but admirable.

Would you also use that line if a relative or friend called you out of the blue? I think you'll find the do not call list does not protect you from all unwanted calls.

Survey company soliciting information.  I mentioned that I am on the "no call list" and all she kept saying was, "I am not selling anything."  I said, "no call" means "no call" and does not differentiate who can call and bother someone.

Scam.  Their caller ID tries to say 801-214-9297 which is a known telemarketer or scam or politician.  No, wait, I'm repeating myself.

I reported the caller to the FTC using the FTC.Gov complaint line.  The caller claimed to be from Adventure Data dot Com, a telephone survey outfit.  My number is on the Do Not Call List.  the caller intruded upon my Sunday TV Movie Watching .  None of theses survey outfits are legitimate.  If someone wants a survey, let that person submit a survey via U.S mail.  My time is entirely to precious to be intruded upon by political or market surveys.  The DO NOT CALL LIST should be enforced.

While trying to answer her questions, she got nasty and hung up, at least  they could show some respect to the people they call.
