I received the same message on 1/23 from 44320@vtext.com. This is sent through Verizon (vtext.com), so I assume that you are all using a Verizon account. This appears to be a phishing attempt and they are texting random or pre-screened cell numbers.
If you have one of the big 4 you should forward the message to 7726 (SPAM).

I got the same text on my iphone last night.
I know my little girl ises free apps on her tablet to call and text me. Could it be from one of those apps. Anyone know for certain? Also the Boise police victom protection unit called VINE said they call from a number that says it is listed in Kentucky or something. Could it be this Virginia based number??
