have received several calls from this number over the past few weeks.  Every time I answer, they hang up. Says NRA on the caller id.

They were looking for a donation. Told them I'm unemployed and do not have extra money. they said sorry for bthering you and hanged up.

I have received numerous hang up calls from this number.  I am also on a no call list and do not have any idea why they keep calling.

Just got a call from this number 3:43pm CDT i answer and no one there. I dont care if its the NRA or what  i just hate these hang up calls. I am also on the no call list and they called my cell phone.

Have received numerous calls but have not answered since I don't recognize number.  They never leave a message.  I too am on do not call list & they are calling my cell...

This person from the N.R.A. has called my home for at least 10 wimes this week alone.  I called the police to report him but all they can do is refer me to the do not call agency.  Lot fo help they are.

The call and hang up.  I am on the don't call list.  I want them to just leave me alone.

I just called the number back and they gave me the option to be removed from the call list. Says it takes 48 hours. All automated didn't even have to talk to anyone.

The no call list don't aply to no-profit

I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING CALL'S FROM THIS NUMBER FOR OVER A WEEK NOW AND I ANSWER THE PHONE AND THEY WAIT A SECOND I SAY HELLO AGAIN AND THEY HANG UP THIS HAPPEN'S SEVERAL TIME'S A DAY TIL APROX 8:00 P.M.

Hang up call from this number. Checked caller ID and went to internet to check. Very interesting that all these people have had the same strange call(s)

Says Vienna on caller ID had bad connection but a man ask to speak with me by name. I ask who is calling, who is calling then they hung up. I am a NRA Member for some reason, been regretting it ever since.

This guy calls us about 4 to 5 times a day; that's not counting the weekly total. It is Ridiculous! Finally, my husband answered and this loser did not know JACK about any gun laws, the UN Arms Treaty, NOTHING. Complete bubble head. If it is the NRA, you need some new reps., or some better volunteers who do more than just waste money by calling the same phone number over and over and over. I think it's harassing and won't be supporting the NRA with any of my monies. I suggest you do the same, America. Until these harrassing calls stop, don't give 'em a dime.

Kept getting calls from NRA, called 1-800-672-3888, membership option and your phone number removed! Thanks to lizzyjane for the info, it worked!

Yes, this worked it was all automated, call the number back and the first option is to hit zero if you want to be removed, do that and enter your phone number and in 48 hours it will be removed. Thanks for the info, CONFIRMED!!!

I get calls often that stop ringing before my answering machine picks up.  I suspect many are from FAKE caller IDs.  Before I got caller ID, I received MANY calls for an Alvin Johnson.  I was the lucky one that got Alvin's old number more than TWO years ago.  I always told them that I did not know Alvin or where he was.  I told them to stop calling me.  They keep calling anyway.
If the answering machine does pick up, all I hear are "boiler room" sounds.
Did I mention that they may be using FAKED caller IDs?  The numbers do not ever seem to go to a legitimate business when using Google to search.

they are from the National Rifle Association.  they are in need of funds.  I get this calls every year around the holiday season. if you have done anything with the hunting world they call.  if you try to remove your number it does not work.  i hope this helps you a little.

They called me a few times and I finally said they were the NRA and when was the last time I went hunting or target shooting. I'm on the Do Not Call Registry. Why isn't Do Not Call not enforced? What a waste of time. Yes, I own a gun and shoot well.. no, I do not hunt because I'm not a meat eater... why do I need the NRA? I don't... no one needs them.

Caller identified himself as Tom Michaels from the National Rifle Association. He asked me a survey-type question. I said I did not want to participate in a survey and did not want to receive any more phone calls from the NRA.

This number shows up on my caller ID as Vienna, VA. They always hang up on my voice mail. It's very irritating. They have called multiple times.

this number has called my mobile phone a couple of times this week... i didn't call back because i assumed that if it was somebody i know... he or she would at least leave a voicemail for me.
but it didn't... i have just received a call from this number a minute ago. but i didn't hear any voice. just a weird buzzing sound. i'll try to block this number from my phone.

Same here!!  I've gotten several calls from this number on my cell I don't answer either because I don't know who it is...they never leave message..getting very annoying...on no call list too...lotta good that does!

I received a phone call from this number and said it was the NRA.  I told him I do not want to receive calls from them anymore.  He continues to call.

Has not been left out of their nuisance calling practice. If you pickup they hang up. If you don't, they do not have the guts to leave a message. Average 2 to 4 a week.
