Calls and hangs up

Same thing here

?????- # called twice - no one was there when I answered.  No answer when I called it back.

I'm tired of receiving calls from this number and they hang up as soon as I answer.  No name listed, only shows state of VA.  Calls everyday. Anyone with info as to who this is calling please submit a comment.

Call me a million times a day, shows up as Virginia, when I answer no one is there, then it hangs up.  I called back today for some reason, someone picked up, asked for me, I asked who it was and they hung up on me.

Received several calls, during my work hours,so I don't answer it. Noone leaves message. Haven't tried to call #. If it's that important, they and anyone should LEAVE A MESSAGE! It seems like a phising scam to me.

Have received a call from here several times...they listen to the message on my answering machine then hang up without leaving a message. When I answer the phone they immediately hang up. Would love to know who this is.

Everytime I pick up, there is no one at the other end . . then it hangs up. When I called back, there was no answer ? WHAT GIVES ?

Received several calls from 703-656-9948, shows on caller Id as NRA...ask for husband, told not here, (hard to talk to husband been dead 10 yrs)would not leave a message..

Getting calls from 7036569948 no one there then hangs up. Called it back to see who it was.and just got a busy signal

SECOND POST  I did a reverse phone check...The call  is coming from a land line in Manassa VA...THEY ARE USING A FLORIDA AREA CODE.

Never answers but have received many calls!

this is west asset management, they collect for closed out Chase Bank accounts as one of their customers for sure.

It is the National Rife Association.

This number keeps calling my cell phone, more than twice a day. This needs too stop!!

calling me so they just so idoit because of we're profoundly deafness no way to voice...HUH!! WHY THEY JUST SO IDOIT CALL FOR?!!!

Number has been calling me every day at 7pm with a recorded voice that says "Im sorry I have the wrong number" Its kind of weird.

called this # back ( it is West Asset Mgmt) because they were calling my grandmothers land line and apparently it was a cell phone before and they said they would put it in as a wrong number since it was not associated with the person they were looking for. And if your are getting calls from 757-990-8944 this is also West asset mgmt . I was going thru calling all the numbers on the caller id and when i spoke to the lady and gave her the number she said it had been listed as a wrong number in the system already. So hopefully they will not be calling back like they said.

ALSO GET SPORATIC CALLS FROM THIS #...RINGS TWICE AND THEY HANY UP ABOUT EVERY TWO DAYS, USUALLY IN THE EVENING...TIME TO STOP THIS!!

Be advised the National DNC list is a bunch of hooey giving the consumer a false sense of privacy!

getting calls from this number for last couples of weeks. I have no Idea what this is, its driving me nuts.

It shows up as "NRA" on my Vonage phone line, and the number is the same as is being reported above. The NRA is based in Virginia, which shares the same area code as the number, and when I call back I get a recorded message claiming to be the National Rifle Association. But given all the comments I've sifted through about this number, it's safe to assume that it is a shady collection agency masquerading as the NRA, which I'm pretty sure is illegal. In other words, the number and ID you get when you are called, is not actually the company that is calling you, nor is it the actual number of origin. When you call back, and follow the instructions for placing your number on a do not call list, they will still call you, as it is not their number to begin with. Pretty sheisty little operation they've got here. The "NRA" actually stands for "National Recovery Agency", and they are owned by West Asset Management. With websites and numbers accordingly found easily enough through google search. Be aware that the number you get on your phone is not theirs.  The recorded message you may or may not get is not actually coming from the National Rifle Association, and any and all manipulation thereof is likely to have little effect on the continuation of calls. Call same as above. Caller ID says NRA. # is 703-656-9940. When you look it up on computer it is a land line listed to Starpower Communications Llc
Manassas, VA.  I think they are the kind of collection agency that goes after old bills way beyond the statute of limitations. Old charge off's.
