Got the text about iPhone testers... AT **2:30 AM**! Woke me up from a deep sleep. Agree w/Amanda R. this needs to be illegal.

I just got a text from this number too. The text was sent just after 6am EST... This is seriously ridiculous. However, this time it said Apple is looking for iPhone5 testers. I gave a link and a code to enter. It said you could keep the phone.
These types of spam texts should be illegal.
Oh and I am from Baltimore, Maryland... So I'm not exactly local, but I'm not that far away from Alexandria, VA either (60 to 90 mins)....

I don't give cell # for other than local biz, so think it's just random SMS spam for free ipad site. Report to FCC to stop these people, but their # is probably spoofed anyway. With all we pay in FCC fees, seems there could be better governance of communicaton lines of all types. Then again, people would gripe and call it Big Brother if they did. Wish we could just stop offenders somehow.

Spam message about winning an iPad on Dec 29, 2011 at about 1000 EST.
To others who write a message here, my area code is 703... same as the spammer's. Please specify your area code so that we can confirm this is a local company spamming local people.
