Definitely a scam call.  We get several calls from area code 703 numbers.  Caller ID shows Alex Smith.  How many different numbers does someone named Alex Smith have.    Heavy accent is also a real red flag.

I actually answered this call because I was going to try to play around with the caller and have some fun.  But the guy's accent was so heavy, I really could not understand him.  He said he was calling about "common ?"  It sounded like "common house.  I kept repeating "house" back to him and he kept saying no that wasn't what he was saying.  So I asked him to spell what he was saying and he hung up.  Funny thing is, I wasn't playing around with him.  I actually could not understand what the man was saying.  Ha!  It seems like I ended up frustrating him anyway.

Called and left no message when machine picked up.

Answered call since I know people in VA - Woman said "hello" & started a spiel about senior citizens - I cut her off saying I wasn't interested & take my number off list -she immediately hung up. This is VA AT&T cell phone number. I am on DNC list.

They keep calling how do I get rid of them

Asked my last name and then hung up.

same as one above; woman said hello, hung up when answer machine took call

played music throughout the call, until the message time ran out!

Call listed from Herndon, Va.  No response from caller when I answered.

listed as a Virginia call... answered had lots of static heard a woman say hello then she hung up.
