These idiots keep calling me for people I don't even know. It does sound like they are bill collectors. I live alone, and I am not hiding anyone, how can I end these harassing calls?

They called looking for a friend across the country. They wouldn't state what they wanted. She said she was from URS Limited Partnership, phone number: 800-354-5774.

It is a debt collector. United Recovery System. This call left a message... he sounded professional.

Called looking for someone I didn't know. When I said I didn't know them, the caller accused me of lying about it then got nasty with me. I told her where to go and hung up.

Got a call from these guys, asking for my next door neighbor - that's a first! The woman caller was polite and apologetic. After I hung up, I decided to call them back and offer a correct number. A guy answered "This is URS (I think) this call may be monitored". I told him that I had just received a call, looking for my neighbor, blah-blah-blah, would you like the correct phone number? I quickly figured out these are debt collectors, when he sidestepped my question as to what their company was....told him if he couldn't provide a straight answer, I wasn't going to provide the phone number. "No good deed goes unpunished"!
The caller id came up as Reston, VA.

These guys are always posing as some people who were looking for someone in my family... Somehow they were rude and even had wrong address. These people seriously need to get a life... shouldn't they be sued for constant phone call harassment?

A Jean Sylvester called my cell phone # with a "growing voice" like a rabid dog!
She NEVER stated where she was calling!
Don't they have to state the reason for the message or their company name?
