| Don't call my cell phone! 2013-05-01 17:01:40 Telemarketer |
Called my cell. Man's voice.
He says "Hello? Hello?" then when I responded, he said "Hi, I'm with WN Positions, calling you about an online survey you recently completed. How are you doing today?"
I said "wrong number" and hung up, but it sounded human.

I also JUST got a call from this number and something did not sound right about it. First of all I do not recall doing any survey about a job opportunity which is what the guy said when I inquired about the call and secondly the voice DID sound like an automated voice and it was answering my questions with a delay. Like I would ask something, then there would be a pause before I'd hear an answer which is making me believe the earlier post that it may be an intelligent computerized automatic response system. Anyway, I kept on inquiring about how they found out about me and how they got my number and never gave out any personal information and kept on re-wording my questions when the response just stopped and there was silence on the other side. I kept on saying hello but didn't hear any response so I hung up. If this is a scam, it is still brand new and its early stages because I never received a call like this ever before.

My cell phone received a call from this number and I answered but got no response. Checked this site using google search and found out that if you call the number back and press 9 it will be the end of these calls. So I did. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I wouldn't answer the telephone when I saw this number as it is Walmart trying to drum up business. Recently I made the mistake of trying to sign up for something with their pharmacy (which didn't work anyway) so that is how they got some of my information. Seems it hardly pays to answer the phone anymore unless it is a number you know well.

They called, and I knew it was not quite correct. After some questions that went into areas I did not want to discuss, I was told that I was "not qualified." I have doctorate, so a lie is a lie. Hindsight, it was a very expensive, well designed robo-call. I called back and pressed the -9- key.
This posting helped.

Received a call from this number today; used to live in the 703 area code so I answered it, had someone say I filled out a survey for a Walmart gift card (which I didn't do) and that I stated that I was looking for work (which I also didn't do since I didn't even take the survey to begin with). It was such a wierd call...whoever was calling sounded like it could have been automated, but who knows. I hung up on them.

It's a staffing company (WM). I got a call from that number too.

Received several calls from this number even though I'm on the do not call registry.

I just got a call from the same company. The guy was new and I guess he was just reading a script and at one point tried to transfer me to an non-working number.
It made it sound like I've signed up for their system a while back for a Wal-Mart Gift Card and interested in job searching. At least there's a way to remove yourself from the system. If you call the number back and press 9. Hopefully it worked and I won't hear from them again.

I just made a mistake on this. The company is WNPositions, wnpositions. Sorry for the typo.

The company is MN Positions, mnpositions.com. I spoke with one of their con artists directly and told him to stop calling. He refused and continues to call. I recommend that you report any calls from these clowns to the National Do Not Call Registry, your phone company, and law enforcement.
