Received a call from 704-218-6135  on 6/18/14.  A male with a very strong hispanic accent identified himself as "Vehicle Registration" and asked if I owned a 2007 Honda CRV.   Could hear other voices in the backround.  After he hung up,  I immediately called the number and got the following message "the number you dialed is not a working number, please check the number and dial again. "  Ugh!

Thank you so much for this advice! I just received a call from this number, what gave it way was the background noise... Normally in a call center you hear other professionals on calls, the background from this foreign guy sounded like he was on a busy street or highway making a personal call. It's like he was pretty much yelling on the phone so I could hear him past the backgroud noise. So happy to have "spidy senses!

this call is through China switch board. that is as far as my tracking will let me go. The caller is a scam running on owner vehicles out of date warranty. they want your credit card number so they can run up your bill. I have mutuality lines to my business. I get some on the lower number listing first so I wait till they call back on the higher number to run a trace. Word to the wise just lie to them that the vehicle that is being traced has been involved in a crash where the car failed to let you apply the brakes. Ask them if they can cover the warranty then let them know they are several law suits will they help. the vehicle has been scraped does that mean the warranty would still be good. Yes play dumb to the point they want a credit card give them the first eight correctly but mix up the last eight as well as the expiration date and security number write it down so you can repeat it several time because they will put you on hold to run the card number take up their time. this worked for me on the last calls to me. Have a nice day remember when they call you can like through your teeth legally.    

Been getting a call from this number for the last 3 days. Just shows up as Monroe, NC on my cell phone caller ID. I don't answer calls that I do not recognize because if it's a legit call they will leave a message and I will call them back. These people have yet to leave message.

Mine shows up as Air Duct Cleaning. They call at least 3 times a week

I just got a call from these clowns too, they called about my 2008 Wrangler (which I dont own anymore) but asked me how many miles I had. I told them 487,000 haha, and she said let me connect you to my supervisor. Another foreign person came on the line and when I asked her if she was with Chrysler she hung up on me. I tried calling the number back and its not a real number. Someone needs to report these scammers!

I have gotten 7 calls in 3 days. The first time I told the caller that I wasn't interested.

We have been receiving these calls from a foreign man with the background as a call center.  The monitor states Walmart.  704-218-6135

We received a call yesterday.

Caller ID said Walmart, but the foreign sounding man told us the warranty on a car we haven't owned in 6 years had expired.  Obviously a scam...

Picked-up the phone (the fake CID fooled me).  There was nobody on the line.

When you try to call back this number they have placed a false recording (trying to sound like the phone company true recording) on their answering machine saying that you have dialing an incorrect number. SCAM, scam, scam...

If you want to report a telephone number, you certainly don't do it online unless it is to the proper authorities; not a website.

I asked this foreign speaking male for the name of the company he worked for after he asked me a lot of questions, that I did NOT answer and he hung the phone up on me.  So, if this was a legit business, why would he hang up and why put Walmart on his phone when calling individuals?  THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW......this needs to be reported to the local police department and this phone number is out of Monroe, NC and a Verizon phone number; what more does anyone need?

These clowns have now changed their CID to "Vehicle Warranty"  CID on call from same number a few days ago indicated "Walmart"

I also received a call from a foreign speaking man who was asking about the mileage on my car. Hung up on him.

WALMART on CID.  Having never given my number to Walmart I figured it was a spoofed CID.  No message left.  I never answer the phone now due to all the telemarketing calls.  

Received a call today from 704-218-6135 concerning my personal vehicle warranty.  This is the third time I have received this call 3 times from this foreign speaking man.  I told him his call came up as WALMART on the caller ID and he said he could not explain that.  I feel this is a scam and I told him so and asked that he not call again.
