they claim we are paying too much interest on our credit card. press one to lower your interest rates... 3 to disconnect...
very suspicious since my bank/credit company always identifies themselves first
with a reverse directory lookup no 704 area code phonenumber was listed in canada.

Phone number called my house and did not leave a message. Then when I try to call them back I get silence. WHAT is up with that?
William 2011-06-06 20:54:57 Unknown
Legitimate US phone numbers are being bought, used and dumped by various scammers, for Canadians your numbers are coming from the do-not-call registry, the Canadian gov sells this list for $50 on their web site to anyone with the agreement "not to use it like this" what a joke.

Called my cell...again. Canadian cell number not on any "do-not-call" regisrty.
No messgae left.
HaHa 2011-06-06 20:54:57 Unknown
Just set the number as silent (no ring/no vib) on your phone. Doesn't bother me any more. They can call all they want. Guess they are keeping the phone company in business.

Calls but never leaves a message
go get em 2009-05-07 20:25:07 Unknown
It's one of two companies, either US Fidelis or Auto One Warranty. They've been under a lot of heat lately for their practices. They actually called the Indiana Attorney General TWICE, so now he has them in his sights. Anyway, call them back and give them a piece of your mind. They can be reached at 949-475-9500 or 800-499-5711 or 800-499-4116. Their websites are usfidelis.com (which claims they don't call numbers on the DNC list, yeah right), and autoonewarranty.com.
You can also keep up to date on the on-going saga regarding these do***ebags at reddit.com (cut and paste).
You can also register a complaint with your state's Attorney General or the FCC.

Received a call at 10:55....what a pain in the neck
ruxpin 2009-05-05 15:41:41 Telemarketer
Recorded message stating that this was a company selling health insurance for less than $3 a day. Gave the option of pressing 1 for agent, 2 to be removed. Of course, I pressed 2.
na 2009-05-05 15:24:23 Unknown
I got one too.
Immediately file complaint with the fCC at

There was no response when I answered my cell.
Rhonda 2009-05-05 00:01:06 Unknown
the call was inreference to a warranty on my car thats about to expire. I dont have any warranty on my car and every time they call i send them to voice mail. I even label each number used as a telemarketer and have em programed to go straight to voicemail. This is my cell number they are calling and is very intrusive and annoying

This telemarketer is a customer of US Lec communications, in North Carolina. Their corporate number is 704-319-1000. Complaints can be directed to them until they do something about these turds. Ask for customer care, or the corporate customer care.

Called me, for health coverage. Acted like an old man because these "companies" often prey on the elderly. Strung them along for awile. Seems like a scam to me. They hung up on me when I asked them where the keys to my Studebaker was because my Depends are in the trunk.

Numerous calls, and when you speak to an operator they ask for very personal information, and wont tell you anything about who they are or who they represent. Definate scammers and someone should do something to stop this harassment.
cornl22 2009-05-01 23:05:30 Unknown
they have called me everyday for about a month. i always select the do not call list option, but it doesn't matter. when i speak to a rep they hang up on me. this is happening on my cell phone. there has to be some protection against this.
makeitstop! 2009-05-01 00:33:31 Unknown
they have called my cell and my home phone. I'm on the no call list. This is unacceptable.
pat 2009-05-01 00:09:09 Telemarketer
this company has called every day this week and on a cell phone did not ask for car warranties only want this to stop
some people just don't get it 2009-04-30 21:28:30 Telemarketer
People, these calls are coming from scam artists, they use auto dialers to randomly dial their victims. They do not have a car warranty to sell, they don't even know who they are calling. They only want to get some poor schmuck who's real car warranty is about to expire's credit card of checking account number, that is all they want! Money!
The same goes for people purporting to reduce your credit card debt or elso to refi your mortgage! They are scam artists looking for a sucker! They have no services, no loans, no warranties, nothing to offer you. They don't care if you do or don't have a credit card, a mortgage, or a car! They just want some poor schmo to fall for their lies, then they can change the name and number that show up on your caller ID and call you again and again.
G Burial 2009-04-30 21:10:32 Telemarketer
First call pressed 2 to get off list. Second call talked to a rep and told her to take me off list and to never call again. Third call I accidentally pressed 2 but I'll call them back and harass them for a bit!
Name 2009-04-30 18:51:17 Unknown
Same thing. This is unacceptable.
Tim 2009-04-30 15:23:51 Telemarketer
Recorded greeting said my car warranty is about to expire. I bought the car used, so there is no warranty to expire. The call was on my cell phone, which is illegal besides.
