If you are (indeed) a "legitimate" third party debt collector (as you claim you are), working on behalf of your "Client", and have all the "info" regarding the debt, then your employer will have NO problem with allowing you to provide a consumer with the correct name and mailing address of the collection agency you work for when they ask for it, affording them the opportunity to dispute the debt you are dunning them for, as required by Federal and State law....right? Furthermore, you are not going to threaten to "ruin" someone's credit over an unvalidated debt....are you? If you are, then you are violating FDCPA  laws...as are your Associates, who, according to the mounting complaints on this and other websites on the internet regarding the questionable debt collection practices of this agency.

i actually had a completely different experience with this company. the gentleman i spoke to was very informative, very polite and professional. i am not gonna say the same for advanced fitness laboratories.....it is apparent that they dont run the same business model. i paid the debt, my credit card company confirmed the validity of the transaction and i have not received a call since. not a penny more than the 60 dollars was taken. and i DID do the trial offer and i DID make a mistake when canceling and so they had every right to pursue the payment. i hope this does not reflect negatively against ADSF, against the other outfit maybe......but ADSF was very helpful and i am happy to have rectified the issue

You are getting paid with fraudulent funds, scammed from people that had a trust in offers made.  You have a blind dedication to an employer that scams others. Thanks for your advise, here is some for you, "get another job!"

I to have been getting many phone calls from ADSF collections asking that I pay $80 for product that I received in 2009 from Advanced Fit Labs Health Products. They wanted payment over the phone to stop a report to the credit bureaus. At first I did not remember making any purchases and told the person that I would need further proof that I owed the money. The person told me to research it and he would call back in several days. Tonight I got another call from ADSF. I told them that from my research I  found this web site and told the guy that he and ADSF was part of a scam and since Advance Fit Labs knew my mailing address they could send me a bill in the mail. Again the guy threaten my credit report and I responded back that his threat did not work.

I just got a call from 980-225-1246 stating the same colon cleansing collection scenario.  I had received many attempts from this number, as well as 704-230-4142 and 616-613-2054.  I haven't tried the 616 number, but am assuming it's the same type of situation.  Thanks for having this online so that I know I did right in not giving them any info over the phone!  I'm contacting my CC company with the info as well so that they are aware.

The exact same thing happened to me. Thank you for confirming my gut feeling feeling that this is a scam. We are trying to buy another house, I don't want my credit affected, but I paid what I owed. I don't need this extra stress. How do these people sleep at night scaming others like this?

I have just received a call from someone from "ADSF Collections", claiming I owe "Advanced Fitness Laboratories" $80.00. At first I was a little swayed, but when I realized that it was for a teeth whitening product i had bought over a year ago and had already had an issue dealt with i knew something was wrong. The man on the phone was pushy and rude unlike real customer service people. He insisted only credit card payment were accepted and that we could not pay at our bank. He would not direct me to his supervisor and when asked to give a phone number for his company i got a dead end line with just an unprofessional answering machine that had no mention of the "company". When he talked to my husband after we suspected something was up he asked if my husband was mentally ok for thinking it was a scam. This was unacceptable and a clear sign that this was not legitimate. He assured us this issue would reflect on our credit score if we did not "settle up" right away. Also he claimed to have no way to call back if we did not make a payment on that phone call and we would not have another chance to clear it up before it goes to the "next level". I hope other people read this before they give any sort of information to these sick people.

I work for that company I can assure you they arent a scam!! They file a 10w9 on every employee, hours pay everything!! These people accidently purchase something and they now are going to blame us!! We are only a third party for that company thats it!! We dont force anything upon anybody if you dont want the deal thats fine it simply goes against UR credit WE are trying to help YOU from that But our company does not have dontrol of that we just select refuse and the company you purchased it from does the rest we dont do anything to ur credit!! If you dont want to make the deal fine then dont it isnt hurting our company any!! We dont have any info on that company because we are not that company!! They provide us with ur info they are the ones Scamming people, not us we get pay checks and everything just like anybody else that works for a collections agency.

I got numerous missed calls from 704-230-4142 when I called the number back it was a fax. Eventually (on Jan 12th 2011) I was able to answer the call and they (ADSF Collections) said they were calling to collect a debt for Aci Berry for an order in July of 2009. If I paid them 80.00 they woild not report me to the credit bureau. I informed him that I cancelled that request and did not get any product. He said it was stated that I did not get anything but that i agreed to pay 80.00 and that they had to collect. I asked them for the information to contact Aci berry they said they did not have it. He insisted that I give him a credit card number so things would be cleared. I told him no and hung up, before I did I got the call back info 800-566-0794. About an hour later I called back to get their address for my BBB complaint and hey became very apologetic and told me to not worry about it. At that point I went to google.com entered the name of Advanced Fit Labs Health Products (name given for the company they were collecting for) and there was a link to the number above with ALOT of other people that had been contacted. On Friday I got another call from ADSF compliance I told them to never call me again. That number was 980-225-1246. Please if at all possible research this issue, mine and many peoples credit are at stake. The comments under google.com are alarming along with mine.

I received this very same call, the girl said she was from ADSF collections agency. She told me that I had been sent to collections because I owed $80 to Fit Lab from 2009. She said it was on either a credit card or debit card....hmmm, which is it? I told her that I did not purchase anything from Fit Lab, nor did I have a credit card or a debit card, that I use cash for everything. She rattled of some email address and I told her that was not mine, and then she said "okay, I will get in touch with the original credit card company then".  I told her how could she if I did not have a credit card? She then hung up on me. Total scam! Thank goodness my boyfriend look up the number that I retrieved from using *69. He googled it and found this site here. Hopefully someone, such as a government agency will find out who these creeps are and arrest them or prosecute them! Do not give these jerks any information!!! Lets hope they get caught

My husband got a call from 704-230-4142 asking me for and they would not tell him anything.  They only said that they were a collection agency and I should call 1-800-566-0794 ext 103 and ask for Kimber.  I called the number and left a message that they need to call back and talk to my husband because I keep missing them.  I got a call back right away - The guy told me I was lucky because he was a supervisor & they have been having phone problems all day.  The name & number on the caller ID was Robinson Alex 407-285-4653.  He told me that I bought a colon clense back in July 2010 and that I owed $80 but if I paid $60 right now, it would be settled and it would not go on my credit score.  I did get a free bottle of acai berry pills a while agao.  Then I got charged $40 automataically the next month even though I never received a 2nd bottle of pills.  After several phone calls, I ended up paying the $40.  

So this time I went ahead & gave him my credit card info and allowed the $60 charge just to make it go away -then I called my credit card comany and cancelled the card.  I will end up paying the $60 but then they won't be able to charge me anymore.  Now I'm officially out $100.

ABS Collections called my home telehone and told me an $80 non payment  would affect my credit if I did not submit payment.  I have no idea what this is concerning.  They gave me their 800 number and I returned their call  48 hours later; they had no record of my home telephone number nor my name nor ever contacting me.  The agent said I was called in error.

THAT WAS THE CALL BACK NUMBER THAT I RECIEVED AS WELL AND YES I THINK THEY SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS AND LAW INFORCEMENT SHOULD BE INVOLVED......

I googled the address on the back of the bottle of garbage colon cleanse   Vortex debt collector has same address/ste  told me they are reporting  and will be negative on credit report.  I had used a gift card that had less than $10.00 left on the card. They tried to bill it $80,00.  HAHAHAHA Effers!
At first I thought i used a real CC thankfully I did not. had about 10 missed calls 7042-304-142 answers as ADFF Collections or something collections. I had told the guy i was going to call the company back and return the unused product, he said oh no you can't do that. He got nasty and was demanding I pay the money.  Sorry buddy. Same call as above.  Some trial product that was purchased in June of 2009, but wanted me to pay them $80.00 on a credit card over the phone. The weird thing is, when the call came through on my cell phone, my phone said it was my daughter's number calling??? How did they do that? I am very concerned.

We just got a call as well saying they were a collection agency working on behalf of this company.  They were trying to recover a declined credit card charge from 2009??? Never happened.  They refused to give us any information, just kept insisting that we give them current credit card information to settle the debt.  We called the number back and it was a fax machine.  Do not give them any information!

Call from 1-704-230-4142, a debt collector. Also got his reply number 1-800-566-0794. Why can't this person be put out of business???? Where's the teeth in the BBB? Or law enforcement?

I received a call from a Naren at 1-800-566-0794 Ext. 104 telling me that I had a debt made on my credit card (they had the last 4 digits) in July 2009 for $80. I did not get his company, but called a 704-230-4142 that I got from my phone and it was a debt collection agency with no person, just a machine. This sounds exactly like another incident listed above, same amount, for a dietary offer or some such from Advanced Fit Labs. The interesting thing is this guy gave us his name and number to call back to resolve this issue. Is he that dumb? Or smart? In ant case, I checked my records and have no record of any purchase made on or about that date, and if I had, I would have questioned it and refused to pay it. This sounds like a nationwide scam. I just don't know how to squelch it or stop it from going further.

I had gotten several calls from this 704-230-4142.  Answered phone today and they told me I had an $80.00 declined charge from Sept. 2009 and they were trying to collect the debt.  I told them  I would check into this as I did not owe any thing and asked if they would call me back in a few weeks.  They said they would call back.  I am reporting to Better Business Bureau TODAY!!!!!

This is some BS collection agency trying to get $80 from me.  My CC info was used fraudulently and they can't accept that.  Of course, they can only tell me the company they are collecting for but have no information as to how to contact the company they are collecting for.

Got the exact same phone call from this phone number.  I noticed it on my cell phone about 3 days ago, and figured it was the wrong number.  3 nights ago I decided to pick up the phone and I got this guy on the phone, sounded like a foreigner, and said that he was from some Fit Lab place, stating that I owe $80 dollars, and the company reduced it to $60, and the credit card that I had purchased it was cancelled in 2009, and all of this stuff, how was I going to pay for it, and that once it was paid, i wouldn't see on my credit report, etc.  I am so glad that I decided not to give out information.  I was leery about the whole thing.  I did purchase the stuff, and then found out online about this place, and several people said to cancel the first day you order or your card will be charged over and over again.  I am glad that I cancelled my card.  Scammers!!!!

I've been getting the same call to and when I asked the company to simply send me a bill for the product which I returned because it didnt work anyway she said that they dont bill.  How interesting.. I've never heard of a collection agency that wont even send you a copy of the bill.

My phone call was from ADFF Collections 800-566-0794.  When I called back I did get a recording saying they were ADFF Collections.  It was the same thing as the above reports.  They said I owed $80 for some teeth whitening product that I ordered in September, 2009 from Advanced Fit Labs.  I have no idea what they are talking about.  This was more than a year ago and I never received any invoice, bill or email about owing anyone any money.  They said I charged it on a card that was declined and I did not recognize the last four numbers of the card they said I used.  I asked them to send me something in writing but because they were a collection agency they could not do that.  They wanted my Visa or Master Card number over the phone and will not accept any other form of payment.  They threatened that this would change my credit report with the credit agencies.  I cannot give my credit card numbers to someone over the phone.  Not sure what to do.
