Wow....regarding the claim of being CTC, I am one of the principals & the broker of Coastal Timeshare Creations.  Guess I should not be surprised that someone would like to attach their name to us!!  We are a BBB-A rated business, and are very proud of our work ethics.  We are not in the business of listing and selling timeshare....we work with Banks and Attorneys, in behalf of their clients, to liquidate their holdings.  From that, we sell such to those who are interested in purchasing verifiable Timeshare, for $0.25 on the $1.00.  Regardless, I could not resist a brief comment on this.

Hope all turned out well for you.  Best of luck & Many Happy Vacations!  Remember.....Friends don't let Friends pay Retail for Timeshare!!

They just called me saying they had a buyer that wanted my property for $17,000.  I said, this sounds fishy.  How did you  know I wanted to sell my proprety.  He said, I didnt, we just did a deed search and started calling owers.  I said every other company that wants to sell my property wants me to paid something, so send me some info via email and I gave him my email address.  Never received any info.  He was talking so fast I couldnt understand him and I said if you have a real buyer with real money they can have it, so email me the paperwork so I can look over it. Still havent heard a thing.  If it sounds too good to be true.......

I was contacted by Property Management Worldwide on 1/14/11 They said they had a buyer for my timeshare. I even had a second call after Chris Johnson, and then he said your unit is already sold.I tried to call back nobody knew who called but then said it was Chris. I never heard from them again and then found the number disconnected. I then got letter from my timeshare telling me to beware of phonies like these.

I had the same thing happen - Derrick Stevens called me saying he had a couple who wanted to buy my timeshare for $18,000 - mine is also not listed for sale - it sounded good so I asked if I could come down to do the deal in person, it's a short flight or a 10 hour drive and for that kind of money, I would do it - at that point, he got upset and claimed I was wasting his time and to shove my property up my a**, then hung up - A real salesman would not speak that way - what if, at a later date, I did want to sell, he just blew any chance of me contacting him back.

SCAM!
I recieved a call from Robert Schultz (Property Management Worldwide) that someone was interested in my property and made an offer of $10,650.  "Great!", I said.  Then he says he needs $1850 for closing cost. This was a red flag, but I was anxious to sell.  He said that a check by phone would make the closing go faster.  Another red flag!  I asked for a website to check them out and he gave me coastal4less.com which is Coastal Timeshare Creations.  I found that CTC is not affiliated with PMW.  I was so close to making a big mistake!
SCAM!

Looks like Ethell and Jim work, or own Property Management Worldwide. It must be a employ benefit not having to pay any fees up front as it seems like Ethell and Jim are the only ones that did not have to pay up front. Why bash the BBB? Because you are trying to hide how bad of a company you are. They say they require the fee up front due to not getting paid for services. Well you need to provide a service to be paid. The fees can be paid from the title company at closing as that is one of the functions of a title company.  Nice try Ethell and Jim, as employees, or owners you DK not help them at all. You just showed all of us that this is a SCAM.

I received several calls from several different people, claiming they had buyers for my timeshare, which is NOT listed on the market. They want from $2000.00 to $2500.00 "upfront" to complete the transaction, cover fees and such. I was firstly offered 13, 500.00 and said "no thank you" ... then the call back offered 27,200.00. HUGE jump, but they said it was against the law for them to accept commissions for their company and therefore, as soon as the 'customer' was approved by their bank...we MUST send the money in advance to them.
I will NOT send them money in advance.

They called me saying they had a buyer for our property for 21,500.00, this was much nore than  we  were asking, I should have known right away, being anxious to gid rid of this  debt I went a step further, they wanted an earnest  check to include the bank name, the bank code and account #, and check # which I gave them, thinking that not having any paper to make a trnsaction with the bank it would be safe, after thinking about it all night, and my wife's objective view and I found out later when  I went to  the bank to stop payment, they could have made a electronic transfer. Im presently waiting for Don Harper's phone call to give him my good news and  his bad news, as they say......., IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE-------------!!!.  A report to www.ic3.gov is in order. Good luck all.

Robert sold my property for me and he put $12,400 in my bank account after 47 days of closing on my timeshare. I did not pay any fees until my timeshare was sold. He was very helpful. He was even able to get me back all the money that Timeshares Only took from me. He told me that a previous employee tried to post a bunch of false reports online about the company he works with. You never even signed up with him and yet your online accusing him of being a scam. Everything he told me made perfect since. Did you know that the bbb requires business to pay between $400-$1,000 per year to be an accredited  business, then, they send you a letter in the mail which you must sign and return to verify your address.  I felt very comfortable doing business after i looked at the same sample contract as you did on their website, which was sent to me the same day by fax with all my info in it. It clearly stated that i was selling it for $12,500 and that my $2,250 covered the whole sale of my property. That's what i paid for and that's what i got.  I recommend him to my family and he also sold my mother-in-laws timeshare. Thanks again for the gift baskets.

with that information, they can deposit AND withdraw and there is nothing you can do about it other than to open a new checking account with a new number.  NEVER give them your Account number and routing number. If someone has money for you, have them send a check.

One thing I should also mention.  In the "legal contract" sample they show you, they will ask for your Banking Account Number, Routing Number, and Check Number.  with

I received a call from Property Management Worldwide.  I was tempted at their offer.  they offered around $11,000 for my time share stating that he had a customer waiting and wanted it. (this is one of the first scam warnings).  the BBB does indeed report that they could not be found at that address and when I asked him about what suite he was in (he acknowledged that he was working there physically), he had to shuffle some papers to find the suite number.  I would expect if you worked at a physical location, you would know what suite you go to for work.

I also found that their website domain name was registered in November of 2010 which means they have only had a web presence for 2 months.  Robert said that they were in business for 4 years now and the web site says they have 20 years experience.

Their refund policy on the web site says nothing at all other than talking with your attorney.  the sample legal contract states you have 7 days to cancel but that does NOT state you get your $$ back.  Also, the contract says after 7 days, there is no refund but it takes up to 45 days to complete the process so if there really isn't any customer, you have to wait before backing out of the contract and thus you lose if the "customer" does not pan out.

When I confronted the "inconsistencies" to Robert, he hung up the phone on me.  I called back to ask if he hung up on me and he said he was not going to waste his time trying to convince me of the legitimacy of his business.  those are not his exact words but it is basically what he said.

They will not take their money AFTER the transaction is completed so you roll your dice if you want to try it with them.  Too much is too sketchy about them.

they called.  promised a GREAT deal.  But... the address they claim on their web site is not where they are.  I googled that address and found the REAL tenants.  Called them up and they said they get calls all the time looking for Property Management Worldwide but that they are not at that address.

The BBB confirms that they (PMW) does not have a presence at the address they claim.  Red flags abound.  They want "upfront" earnest money (from the seller!!). Yeah, right.

I might be just a dumb ole hill billy from WV but hey,  I have internet and I know how to use it!!  I just love technology.  Google searches are fun!!   Stay away from those guys at that number.
