Research reveals that no legitimate law enforcement agency/personnel have ever received any proceeds from these lying scum. Previous "Police Protective" scam used same 714 area code, but 542-9359.

They called asking for the lady of the house, I said they were unavailable so he then asked for the man of the house. I said he was unavailable and asked for a message. He said there was no message and would call back. Okay?

I got this call also, saw it was another 704 area code, answered to see what group he was calling for THIS time. I hung up on him. He said he was fund-raising for the State of NC Fraternal order of Police. Always something different. Above his number on my read-out it said "unknown name". He called on a Sunday afternoon after 3 PM.

If I were a member of any police/firemen group I would go after these guys
They make you all look bad, and when you need help like making a REAL plea for $$$

I have finally figured out if the caller ID shows a City and state, I never answer it, usually it's the Fraternal Order of Police wanting contributions. Have actually received a call some time back it was a "Fire"
Fraternal wanting money. Answered the phone at a friends home,in another town, and when I told him this person was on a fixed income he asked ME to donate... I said NO already got a call from Ya'll in my home town and the answer then was NO Thank you...

Have been receiving calls from this number. Never did answer, but got sick of the calls. Answered one day and they just hung up. Still receiving calls, so am just ignoring them now. Really irritating.

Fraternal Order of Police wanting contributions. These outfits also call for any number of charities, so yours may be East Podunk Social club.
