This individual (Jamie Kopish) has called my wife multiple times claiming to represent a company which can lower credit card interest.  When my wife tells him to call back and talk with her husband, he hangs up.

Got a call this evening from 704-992-9044 person by the name of Jim Kopish.  Caller I.D. was Jamie Kopish.  Wanted to lower my credit card interest rates as well but said he was from a company called Purchase Power Solutions, which I looked up on the computer while I had him on the phone.  Could not find the company on line.  The fee he wanted to charge was 998.00.  He did however answer a few of my questions before he hung up on me.  He said he was located in Mesa Arizona.  Needless to say he didn't get any information from me.

Received a call from Jim Kopish, 704-992-9044 saying he is from East Valley Financial. The message was that he could cut credit card payments in 1/2, save $3000 the first year on interest, needed $995 to start the process so I gave him a CC #. This charge appeared on my cc in a couple of days.  I did receive a packet asking for names of credit cards (but not the #'s), and the amount owed. This was in Sept. I got a call back saying I would get a packet of letters addressed to each of the credit card companies which I was to send in to make it look like it came from me.  (I realized at this point, I can do this at any time without the help of a finance company, especially for a fee)  I have been unable to reach anyone at any of the numbers given, even the 800 # as the line is always busy or a message comes on that no one is available.  Now I am sure this is a fraud and I am out $995.00 which would have paid off 1 credit card.
Watch out for this scam.  Evidently there are no laws to prosecute the telemarketers and no laws to protect the victims.

Jamie Kopish is still stealing people's money ( September 2011) from a new number: 704-992-9044, and still using the Eastern Financial bit...My guess is that he's probably operating from a prison in Arizona.
I'm amazed that the crooks still operate and Arizona and the Federal Government aren't doing a thing about it.

Got a "pre screening call" from 204-784-0489 it's a Manitoba, Canada number.  Ask a few questions and said I qualified for a interest reduction on my credit cards and someone would call me back with details.  Within thirty minutes got a call Jim Kopish (caller id showed Jamie Kopish 704-274-9573) it's a Huntersville, North Carolina number.  After answering a few questions he ask for my CC number to qualify me for the program.  RED FLAG!!  He kept insisting I needed to trust him and let him help lower my CC interest rates.  He told me he was with East Valley Financial and gave me 866-208-9351 as a call back number.  Again he ask several times for my CC number to "get things started".  RED FLAG!!  I end the call telling him I wanted to do some research and told him I'd call him back.  I don't think I'll be returning that call.  Stay clear of this one, it sounds too good and Mr. Kopish was a little to pushy wanting a CC number.................

Called saying he could lower your interest rates, said he is from a respectable company and when we said that we had had a similar call and could not get back to them he swore it was legit. We told him we googled his number and it was a fraud and he hung up immediately.

I also spoke with Mr.Kopish on may 22nd. He gave me this big speech that he can help me with my credit card interest rates but I told him I need to research the company. I was very hesitant at first cause I seen these postings about him and their company. However, I did go with the program ( desperate needs I guess) and I did get the help I was looking for. They helped me with my interest rates and with good customer service. I agree that you have to be careful but this company did provide

I enrolled in this company about 2 weeks ago. They have been on top of everything since day one. So far they seem like a reasonable outfit. I was concered at first cause the gentleman that called me showed on my caller i.d. as being from North Carolina but the information I got was from Arizona. Later I found out the main office is in Arizona but they do work out of several states. So far I'm pleased with the work and honesty they have done.

This is a scam!  When asked any questions they just hang up.  Also you can not call them back as you get a busy signal.  This really is a scam and the positive comments above may be also.

This Jamie Kopish is at it again.  Just called looking for my daughter.  When I said she wasn't here he just hung up.  This same thing has happened several times over the last few weeks, I have answered several phone calls for my daughter with numbers that we don't recognize and after we trace them, the address provided leads so us to some place in the middle fields or empty lots.  Very strange!  I'm not sure what program they are using to get these untraceable numbers or what company is selling them to them, but I'm almost certain it for no GOOD!!

EVERY ONE BEWARE!!

Just got the same call today fromt the same person. Looked up the company on line while talking to this young man. Told him what I was looking at and he told me most of the post were from disgrunteled people that didn't like to be bothered with calls so they in turn make these negative post. I told him I would do a little research on his company and he even gave me a number to call him back. Guess what? Was the same number that is posted on most of the sites I have been to checking this company out.
There has to be a way for the BBB, telephone companies, or some branch of the law to stop these predators from using this type of scam on people who are trying to get out of debt without going deeper in because of "their" greed.
I wonder if his parents know what he is diong to people and how proud they can be of him.

Looks like Jim Kopish is using new number.  I got one phone call from 509-492-4662 to let me know about a program to help me reduce my credit card interest rates.  They have four questions to "pre-screen" me.  1.  Did I have at least $7000 in credit card debt?  2.  Did I have some interest rates of 10% or more?  3.  Am I current on all my credit card payments and 4.  I don't remember.  Apparently, I answered "correctly" and was told that an "account specialist" would call me back with more information.  The call back was about 15 minutes later from this phone number: 704-992-9044, with the caller ID of Jamie Kopish.  After introducing himself as Jim Kopish from Sovereign Financial and telling me that he can lower my credit card interest rates, he asked how much credit credit debt I have.  I told him that I'd like to learn more about the program before I told him any more information.  He immediately hung up.  I thought that it might have been a mistake and the phone disconnected by accident.  He never called back.  That's when I Goggled his phone number and found this thread.

OH MY!!!!  I got the same "pre-screen" questions, I didn't get a call back right away, I honestly had forgotten about it. Then fast forward...I've been getting calls like 2-3 a day asking for my Husband, each time he calls my Hubsband is at work, and when I ask for a message he just says "no" and hangs up. This has been going on for a week, finally today when he called I said "No he's not here and you know what" (I was trying to get him to leave me a message) he just cut me off and said "No, goodbye".  That's when I decided I was going to figure out who this idiot was, and would'nt you believe it, his name was 2nd on the google search I did!  Thank you ALL for leaving your comments, sorry you're having do deal with him also.

He has called me several x's this week from North Carolina #704-992-9044, hangs up when answering machine comes on.  Just now called, my son answered the phone he told him the person he was asking for wasn't here, asked who was calling...wouldn't answer & hung up.  He called back, I answered...he asked for my husband again..I told him he wasn't here, he told me he just spoke to him 2 minutes ago, I said that was impossible because he is not here, who is calling, he hung up again...I did reverse look-up & came up with this Jamie Kopish...obviously a scam, otherwise...what would be the problem with announcing who you are & why you are calling!!  BEWARE!
