Was in the bathroom, they called, I did not get a chance to answer but decided to check the number before I called it back.  Great post from others so I will add this number to my call blocking phone along with over 150 other numbers.  All they will get next time is 'AIR', ha ha, ha ha!

Got a call from them earlier but I have them on my instant-rollover-to-voicemail-no-ringee-my-phone-list, it never bothers me.  I'll see they called...but no muss, no fuss.

Called in reference to donating money to the firefighters. When told I could not offer monetary support they hung up without even a simple good-bye. I suspect this is a scam.

I HAVE BEEN RECIEVING CALLS EVERY NIGHT AS LATE AS 9 PM AND THEY HANG UP - FINALLY AFTER 3 JUST LAST NIGHT I ANSWERED AND SAID "STOP CALLING ME" AND HE GOT NASTY WITH ME SAYING HE WAS FROM THE FIREFIGHTERS AND WAS JUST TELLING ME TO MAKE SURE MY SMOKE ALARMS HAVE BATTERIES AND I THOUGHT THEY WERE TELEMARKETING AND HE PREACHED SOMETHING TO ME ASKING "IF HE DID SOMETHING TO UPSET ME" AND HE HOPED I HAD A BETTER DAY - HE WAS RUDE,  CONDESCENDING AND HAD AN ATTITUDE!

Received call....they hung up but made it seem like they were cut off ---- said, "may I speak to . . . " and hung up.

Call came in. Went to vm. Heard a man talking to someone for a second, then he dropped call. Sounded like possible sales call. No messages were left.

Have received numerous calls and they dont give up ...

I have been getting a call on my cell phone once or twice a day for 2 weeks from this number. I have never answered and they have never left a message.

Someone from this number called my home number, left no message, I returned the call & received this voice message "Please leave your name & a message" I did not leave my name nor a message. I do not want any further calls from this number "704 369 2471" I am requesting my number to be removed from their calling list.

Caller would not say anything when I answered

I have called the Fire Department close to my area and they state its a scam,called the fire fighter union its not them calling.; Finally called the police department and they stated the same this is a scam do not donate any money, do not give them your info or credit card information. Block the asap!

They call all the time.  Even called this morning @ 8:30.  Thought they couldn't call before 9am or after 9pm.  When you answer the phone they will call you by your first name & you think it's someone you know.

Also, since you are actually receiving tickets you cannot take off as a tax deduction.

I don't care if it's the FireFighters Assn, Gov. McCrory, or President Gay, next time I'm picking up the call (they call DAILY) and telling them if they so much as call me one more time I'm reporting it to the police.

SAYS ITS FROM FIRE FRIGHTERS ASSOCIATION.

This number claims to be from "a" fire department.  Make a donation and you get tickets to some country artist performance.  If this is legit, don't give over the phone tell the person you want MAILED information sent to you. And btw, if you tell the person you are busy when they call - they hang up on you.  Total scam.
