This number called 4/22/13 @ 1:10 p.m. I did NOT answer as I do not recognize the number. It looked suspicious. I researched the number on the web and a link to this site apparently confirms what most of you already know...that this is a bunch of crap.

Someone called from the Virginian-Pilot saying that my card was about to expire and that they needed the new expiration date to update my account. I told him i didn't have the new card yet and he said i could use a different card. When I asked him if I could renew online, he told me I couldn't....needless to say, I went online and updated my info.
THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION!

Woman called and asked for one of our sales managers or his wife by name ("May I please speak to Mr. or Mrs. Smith?"). When asked, she said she was calling "for" the Virginian Pilot, which is our local newspaper. I transferred the call to the employee, knowing he's not here today and that she'd get his voicemail.

Received a phone call from said number on 3/7/11 @ 6:03pm. I didn't answer, but did try to call the number back three times and only got a busy signal. Went on line, punched the number into Google and this site came up. So here I am sharing this with all of you. Sounds like another one of those "fishing" calls. Who do you need to screw to get rid of this problem?

LADY CALLED STATING MY CREDIT CARD WAS EXPIRED.I DO NOT HAVE A SERVICE WITH THIS COMPANY.I TOLD HER TO GIVE ME THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF THE CREDIT CARD THAT WAS EXPIRED ACCORDING TO "HER RECORDS"..GAVE A NUMBER I DONT HAVE NOR HAVE I EVER HAD.
