This is a telemarketer pushing a "free" home security system.  I'm getting a lot of call from home security companies...anyway, I reported him as a Do Not Call violator.

8/26/13 Customer Care the # 704-886-1097 @3:31 returned call to said number . The first option is to press # to be placed on the do not call list. This may take up to 48 hour. called number . We will wait & see.
I orginally thought by registering on the National Do Not Call list was to elimate these type of calls!l

I blocked the number through Ooma.  Clark Howard, a consumer advocate with a radio show, warns about this security scam.  He also warns not to engage these people--just hangup or down't answer at all.

CID said "Customer Care," recorded message said that we qualify for a FREE HOME SECURITY SYSTEM! I pressed 1 to talk to a representative so I could get the actual company name, and when I asked what the company name was, she hung up.

Called our house a little after 1 Thursday. We did not answer and they did not leave a message. We are on state and federal do not call lists.

They dont honor removal requests.  Its all a scam.  If I had a job like that i would kill myself..Guess it beats welfare...

This number keeps calling me at least 4 times a day. We don't answer the phone,we let the answer machine take it and they either hang up or talk to machine.

This my own theory. These monsters somehow believe that people will answer a phone if it rings in the middle of the night because they think it is an emergency. We are in a war against these people for our privacy. We must remain vigilant. And yes, Caller ID is my first line of defense; then I take down the information, and report it to the National DNC, the FCC, and the FTC -- of course, to 800notes as well!

They hit me at 11:25 AM this morning. I checked with White Pages. "High Spam Level". Carrier is Windstream Communictions out of Concord, NC. 28027. I do not begrudge what I have to pay for Caller ID. Just visited another complaint site, and learned that this is GE Home and Business Security System.

Stupid people.  Caller ID shows Customer Care.  And who is the smart jack@ss who decided that calling people in them middle of the night is a good idea ??????.  Morons called @ 1:05 pm on 6/14/13 and 1:50 pm on 7/11.  The phone # they called is on a Do not Call List but these hucksters keep finding these phone #s.  This is a landline with no voice mail because our cc terminal is plugged into this line.

get one of those air horns...press 1 to get a live person...they will have head sets on....blast them with the air horn....I can get no..yes I can...satisfaction!!!!!

Just  got  a  call  from  704-886-1097 (CID  said  Customer  Care),  I  didn't  answer  &  they  didn't  leave  a  message,  Will  be  blocking  this  number ...D**n  Telemarketers!

automated call about security system.  tired of them calling pressed 1 to talk to security person and told them not to call me again or I would report them told me to take me off their list.  told me I was stupid and that nobody in government cared about me.  I asked for supervisor and she jus mocked me..

Rec'd call at 12:07 MDST on 06-13-2013.  Caller ID:  "CUSTOMER SERVICE".  Looked bogus to me, so I did not answer.  I also found a site called "Mr. Number" and tried to file a report with them.  I came away with the suspicion that they could be a "phishing" site.  Now to file a complaint with the DNC people.  Thanks to WALKER (He's right) and to KEN, He stuck out his neck for the rest of us and confirmed that it is a scam caller.

we just got a call from this number and didn't answer. we are on dnc so whoever it is is already in violation of dnc list so no one going to do business with them.  NEVER EVER push any buttons on these type of calls because these people can get your phone number and call other people and looks like it is from you. I think this is how they do it. then it looks like you are calling people, because someone spoofed your number.  I suspect they are trying to do that.

Called - when I saw all the numbers I wasn't about to pick it up... it looks like a scam number and I cannot afford to get this type of call - joke or whatever.  I am on the DO NOT CALL list - why are we getting numbers like this???  My Dad is hard of hearing and he might pick it up and then wonder why the telephone bill skyrocketed!  How can we get calls like this stopped??

The whole number that called  is:  17048861097  704-886-1097 - they never leave a message and I don't pick up and this is about the 2nd or 3rd time for them to call.  I have no idea who these people are.
