I got an phone call from Carolina shingles tonight, told them I'm on the national do not call list and he said he wasn't calling to sell me something so he didn't have to use that list!  Sure, he was calling because of my recent storm damage, and the fact he did a roof in my neighborhood is my guess.  I didn't let him get that far as to tell me why.  This company may have an A rating on the better business bureau, but I will never use them due to thier refusal to use the national do not call list, and calling my home unsolicited.  They called tonight from phone number 704-935-4044

First time they called was actually from a Carolina Shingle. A business that goes around and gets estimates on roofs. This happened after the terrible hail storm we had here in North Carolina back in April or May 2011. Didn't really get a legit number or website. Recently had some calls and hang ups, but this evening I was able to get someone on the line. He started his normal sales pitch with the patronizing "How are you?" like they really want to know. I let him ramble on and he said that they are a BBB company and known world-wide. That's where I stopped him and said "Yes, you ARE known world-wide on the internet for hang-up cold calls." He tried to excuse that saying it wasn't that number. Nope, we've got caller ID, it's the same number. I told him about all the hang-up calls and how it's been reported on sites like these about those hang-ups. He then said repeatedly "If someone is doing that, heads will roll." I asked him what his website address was. www.carolinashingle.com He then tried to continue the sales pitch, I stopped him and told him we already had an estimate. Folks want to complain? go to www.carolinashingle.com .. Looks like a legit site, don't know the reason for all the non-talking and hang-ups.

calling ever few day's, sometimes day's in a rpw for months, it's a windstream landline from Matthews nc. always hang ups . calling windstream to complain, calling Att to see if I can block this number.

Received two calls from this number for someone named Sylvia.  I've only had this phone number for about six weeks and no Sylvia lives here.  When I asked to have my number taken out of their database, the woman laughed and hung up.

just calls and hangs up cant return the call message says due to network era call can not be compleated as dialed has called my house 5 time today.

For days.....harassing calls and hang ups.  Found out number is through Windstream.  Calling to file complaint.

I have received the same calls from this number. No one seems to know who this is

This number called my house and left an awful message on my answering maching.  
They knew my first name.

This number calls me every day, at least 3 or 4 times a day. When I try to call it back, my cell phone says "authorization failure." I'm unable to call it back. I've added it to the National Do Not Call Registry. Additional research says the number is located in Hemby Bridge, NC.
