Got a call from Cambridge & Stein last night. Voice mail. Saying I have a fraudulent file in front of him and that he just needs an explanation.

Same thing with me.  Same guy, same company.  I would never answer the calls.  Dont know how he got my work info but called one of the stores that i deliver to and i told the dude who works there too get his name and number and its the same info that you just said.  Found out that im a truck driver and asked if i needed a valid drivers license and told the dude at the store that i NEED to call him back.  thank god i didnt.

They also use # 980-939-8817.  They have called me repeatedly asking for someone that I have never heard of.  When I try to get info from them they hang up.  When I call them back....no ans.  I have contacted the NC Attorney Generals office in the past but did not have enough info for them until today when I received a call.  When I called back they answered "Cambridge and Stein".  I will be contacting the AG again.

continually call harass my family threaten civil action, threaten i have 48 hours to pay or i may be arrested for fraud call my house starting at 5am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    they r frauds n scammers don't give any info-

This phone number is also in connection with 'The Cambridge Group' & 'CNS Associates', both of which are bogus and a scam.  They are basically scavengers who acquire personal information and try to collect money illegally by means of harassment, false accusations of fraud, civil suits, etc.  If they call you REPORT THEM TO THE FTC and every time they call from a new number, or a person calls you using another fake name, contact the FTC and update that inf with them.  They give you a reference number when you file a complaint so you can do so.  I have been doing this and they are great in working with people.  If enough people file complaints against these people , they will eventually take action.

Received a call from a man using the name Michael Sansone and claimed he was with "Cambridge & Stein".  Stated that I was being sued in a fraud case and that I was being served with court papers, but that he wanted to touch base with me first.  Yeah right...  After some research I found out that he is basically working with a group of individuals as a scavenger, collecting info on old payday loans that have gone into default and attempting to illegally acquire funds. He calls my 71 yr old Aunt regularly to threaten her on the phone and harasses a former acquaintance as well. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and update them regularly whenever he calls, I suggest anyone else who has been contacted by him do the same.

Received a voicemail from this number yesterday from a man claiming to be with an attorney's office and basically accusing me of fraud and saying there would be legal action taken against me. Funny how the attorney's office he mentioned doesn't exist. I don't know how these people got my information, but they are clearly trying to collect cash from me illegally and they can forget it.
