some pervert keeps calling me in spanish sounds mexican says perverted things it's scary and creepy from this tel number in Naples fl 239-465-2079

he is one of them sex perverts. he called us today  and started in with a bunch of sex talk. i mean it was nasty. we had a police officer take a report. hope this pervert is caught soon.

I have had several calls from this phone #... It's very degrading the way he talks...  What can I do to stop him?

I answered and the caller disconnected.

Pervert called march 5, 2010  I called the phone company  it is At&t go phone.. Reported  the number  directly to the company with a complaint

One can also the fun this caller is having by placing a BLOCK on that phone number through your phone service. Most of us have this already part of our service. You just punch in the prompted numbers with this number and these calls are BLOCKED. If you don't know how to do this operator can give you info or it is printed in brochure from you phone company with directions of other functions.  

   This dude has exhibitionistic behavior. He gets jollies from the shock he causes when he talks to someone and makes these suggestionds. Generally harmless, but annoying person.

           Just block that number!

Thanks for the reply. At the time I posted, I was extremely pissed off at this guy, and I still am. I spoke with him on the phone one time, and he was an incoherent fool. Unfortunately, I live about 800 miles away, but I will be going down on vacation in the fall. I'd like to speak with the authorities when I get there. Maybe people just let this thing go because it is a real exercise in frustration dealing with it. If people just keep posting here when the idiot calls them and they keep records of the times and dates, it's a start. There's a lot worse people in the world than this fool, but he needs to get serious help. I'll help him get it if possible. At least he needs to get into the criminal justice system and Sex Offenders List for starters. Have a good day!

hi jay,  the guy called our house before, while the calls have stopped for now, i did want to support your feelings. when it happened here. we got a big run-around from att phone company, they said they could only give the name and address of caller to the police. so we went to the police, in 2 countys, att want give a name without court order. when the name was given to police. then it is up to us to prove this person called. i tell you it is one big pile of crap.  how are we going to prove this. we don't know him. but i feel this person needs to be put away somewhere. maybe one day, justice will be served. have a good day.

What I find really sad is how low of a priority this is to the authorities. It's nice how they can post here and sound reassuring, but meanwhile, this person had repeatedly called my mother-in-law in the past. Yes, she has reported it, but this has turned into nothing more than a support forum. When you are a threat to a stranger, that's bad enough. But when you're a threat to family, that's another thing altogether. I hope they put this sick b*****d away soon! He belongs on the Sex Offender List, don'tcha think?

I don't mind posting my name because we need to confront this sad sad person. He called my house this morning at 10:59 AM identifying himself as Rick Lowery (I'm guessing his real name is Rick something or other) and, yes, we used to work together.  It's very sad when a person is soooo lonely that all they have to do is call people they don't know. As evidenced by a former post, the best thing you can do is NOT respond to his goading.
PLEASE, PLEASE ladies.... do NOT let this guy intimidate or distress you...  that's his goal... when he stops getting a reaction the fun will be gone and he'll stop... don't answer any of his questions... just CALMLY say something like "bye now"...  thanks for calling"...  "have a nice day"...  or some other such inconsequential nonsense and then HANG UP...   not a slam or bang... that's a reaction too...  just hang up like any other call and STAY CALM !!!

Phone records were finally returned to us from AT&T Mobility.  Call our office and I will give you his information so you can file a complaint with a magistrate.  The magistrate in your jurisdiction may decide to issue a criminal summons, warrant, or neither depending upon your recollection of the harassing phone calls.

Got called today from the pervert at 964-4225 on caller ID. Had a couuple other friends called by him and he called them at work!  How does he know where they work?  He even knew my name today. I have an unlisted, unpublished number.  Don't want to give my name or number at this time because i'm not relaly sure who you even are. Catch him soon please!  I'll check this site often to see if anything has been done.

Same story here- talkin smack & tryin real hard to make me angry said his name was Rick Sigmon....I played it cool & was tryin to keep him talkin to see if he would give me anything I could use to get him busted -finally I asked him if that all made him feel better & have a good night...he seemed stunned by this & was like okay...so anyway he thinks he is funny & I think it will be funny when they catch his stupid a$$. # on my caller id-704-964-4225....I live near Hickory, NC...

Our office has made several attempts to acquire the phone records from both numbers that this guy is calling from and have had no success thus far.  The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office has three complaints that were actually filed.  I have had conversation with an officer in Lincoln County and forwarded the information that I have to him.  Sorry for the delay but it is very difficult to acquire the phone records and some providers are VERY slow in producing them.

This pervert has also called me twice in the last 2 weeks same thing talks about big a**'s and that I know him.

Found out today from a friend that works for a lawyer that the law will NOT do a thing unless someone goes to the police/courthouse and files a complaint.

And I also found out from this friend that the LAW does KNOW who this pervert is but they won't do anything to him unless someone files a complaint at the courthouse.

You have to go and file a complaint against this pervert, you can't call and report him.

So unless someoen goes to the county shierff/courthouse and files a complaint there, the law is not going to do a thing.

Even with complaints, I heard that what he's doing is just a misdemeanor, even if caught all he'll probably get a slap on the wrist and a new phone and # and start doing this again.

You can also block him from calling by pressing *60 on your phone and then entering in his #. You can do a call trace with ATT by pressing *57 and reporting him to the phone company, not that they'll do anything either. All this info is in the phone book, page 27.

I got the same call in December the week of Christmas and he does talk about your butt. He also states we used to work together. I reported him to gastonia police. He called my home phone, but he doesn't recognize my cell and when I called him back he is puzzled and doesn't know who it is. I never say anything waiting for him to reveal a clue.

Pervert has been calling me off and on since November 2009. Cops don't seem to be able to do anything. At least they aren't calling me back or doing any follow up. This guy calls and wants to talk about you a$$. Seems to have a fascination with big ones. He will tell you that the two of you used to work together and that he was always making comments to you about your butt. It's all a lie. This is a new number that he is calling from. The other number is 704-271-0536. Keep calling the police and keep reporting this jerk. I want him arrested and charged with harassment and sex crimes.
