I received the same call this evening, asking to speak to my wife.  I asked "Who was calling?" - She said: "You people are so rude" and hung up the phone..... What's up with this call?  Let me know.  Thanks!

Unreal. The exact scenario happened to me 5 minutes ago. You'd think she'd at least use different names when she tries to do this. Anyone seen any comments on "the wife" actually talking to this Sarah Gosselin?

Just got a call from this number - the caller ID said it was from Sarah Godwin.  She asked for someone I've never heard of and I proceeded to tell her that she had the wrong number.  She then asked if the person was just not around and I again informed her that she had the wrong number and no one by that name lived here.  She then asked if I lived on a particular street, and I informed her that I did not.  She finally apologized and hung up.  Crazy.

Same thing here.  Occurred tonight.

Same person as above called my house (Sarha Gosslyn) and the exact same senerio occured. She said I didn't call to talk to you so I hung up. Very rude person.

same thing today at my house...where does she get off doing this?  I think it is a part of a person trying to get information if you are at home or not, possibly, or to get more infor from women.

Got a call from this number today, Friday, August 28, 2009 at 2:47 p.m. EDT.  Woman said her name was "Sarah Gosselin" (sp?) and wanted to speak to Mrs. _____ (i.e. my wife).  I asked what the call was about, she said she needed to speak to her.  I repeated my question, what is the call about, and also said I was her husband.  She said "I didn't call to speak to you, sir."  I said OK, and hung up.  Woman was very rude.

Same situation here. Sara called asked to speak to my wife (used our last name). I asked her what it was regarding. She said she just needed to speak to Mrs. ___. I asked again what it was regarding and she said “no you may not,” and she hung up.

same thing.. sarah gosslyn - on a number you can't call back.. rude.. nasty.. black lady ...

UNPLEASANT LADY. Ask for wife, who had handed me the phone to answer. Would not identify who she was or why she was calling.

If you have Time Warner, you can block this number, up to a total of 30.  

Go to Time Warner website, My Services.  (You will need to create a user name, such as your e-mail, and a password).  Then click on the My Home Phone tab, then click on VoiceZone, then Call Blocking. Enter 7049999668, Save Input at the bottom, also Save Changes at the top.

 I've put this fake "Kidney Foundation Pick Up Service", along with the annoying "Do you own a small dog?" idiots on call blocking.

The beauty is: you never hear a ring, or see it on caller ID.  When these geniuses call, it goes nowhere.

Got a call from the number saying they were from "National Kidney Foundation Pick Up Service" wanting to speak to my wife, to get unwanted household articles.  I asked for a call back number if we decided to use them.  She said there was no way we could get back in touch with them.  When I asked if they were associated with the National Kidney Foundation, she got very rude and hung up on me.  SOME KIND OF SCAM GOING ON HERE....

I got a call from this number from a woman today asking for "Mrs. Gilder".  I was not trying to be difficult but asked which Mrs Gilder she was looking for.  She seemed annoyed so I went on to explain that my wife and I had recently taken my parents old phone number when they moved out of the county and that we often times got calls for my mother.  Then in a slurred jumble of words in a rather annoyed tone I understood her to say that it was probably my mother but then asked to speak to my wife my wife instead.  Her words were hard to follow because of the slurring and I was so surprised by her confrontational tone, that I asked her to repeat herself.  She then got even more frustrated and hung up after saying "goodbye" in a mocking tone.  I called the number back immediately and left a VM telling her that I didn't appreciate the rude call and that I hoped her night got better.  What a dirt bag.

The same scenario just occured at my house.

We've received several calls from the Kidney Foundation since we donate on occasion.  Those callers always tell me who they are.  This lady was much less polite.

Exact same thing just happened to me.  She said her name was Sarah.  She mentioned her last name as well, it started with a P but I do not recall what it was.   She refused to give me any details.  My wife said she didn't know anybody named Sarah so I hung up on her.

I live in the 704 area code, and do not believe we have a 999 exchange.  The Caller ID said Out Of Area.

Same experience as Dave [above], only my call was on 9/15/2009 and once before but I don't remember the date.  I saw on another website that an individual called her phone company [Verizon] and it blocked this number.  I'm going to call my provider and see if that works.

We also got a call from this number Today (August 30, 2009 at 8:23PM). She said, her name was Sarah and wanted to speak to my wife.... I asked what the call was about. She insisted to speak to my wife but I kept asking the reason. Then she said, she is not going to speak to me and hung up the phone.

Supposely Kidney Foundation looking for donations.

Same here.  No one there when I answer.  Never leave voice mail.

Called my house several times, never leaves a message.
