Sort of same experience on voicemail, (hel)"lo" then 10 seconds of background noise (sounds like voices)

I got a call from this number. An Indian male was on the phone and he was saying something about credit card rates and I asked what company he didnt answer. He wanted to know the name of the business owner I told him to remove the number from the listing and he kept asking for the owner's name so I just hung up the phone

I also got a call from this number claiming to be with bell mobility but they asked for my birth date and after contacting a rep. from bell I was told that Bell would not ask for that perosnal information

This is a bot call from Bell Mobility. The people they have calling can't speak proper English and won't allow me to interupt. VERY annoying!

These guys are calling on behave or Bell mobility, with a free phone offer, they call me 5 times a day and wont stop calling me...........what happended to the do not call list

A bot caller. Silence on the line for a good 10 seconds. I hung up before I could be connected.

Just got the call myself from "1-705-481-1403". Female, heavy accent, maybe east indian, did not seem to have strong english.

Said she was from bell and that we had won a free cellphone.. described the phone and kept prompting me to respond after each short description. I said ok once and when she kept pausing and prompting me I figured that was enough and started asking questions.

I asked if she knew the name of the person who owned the phone she just called, she didn't, she read the number back to me. I said we already had a plan and a phone with Bell, and asked if this "free phone" needed a plan. She started rhyming off more things that were not in answer to the question so I said sorry I can't trust the validity of this call, good-bye. She said have a nice day but she sounded very... defeated.

Also said that the number was called automatically from the marketing list or something... doesn't sound very much like a lucky number system if she needs a machine to make the calls for her.

I'd almost recommend wasting their time as long as you can stand. They probably won't call back then.

They called me today.
Googling th number brought me to this page.
I have call blocked them now.

Got call from them.  When I answered, got a recording that said good bye.  Called back number and got someone claiming to be from Bell Canada claiming that I won a free cell phone and 2 year plan.  Told them I already had a plan with Bell and was not interested in the free phone.  Whole thing smells like an identity theft scam.

this number calls about 5 or more times a day never leaves a message calls some days about every hour it's getting crazy supposed to be representing bell canada complained and emailed bell told telemarketer to delete number tried everything please log complaint if you get this number coming up all the time.

Dothead telemarketers masking their number to make it look like they're calling from the 705 area code. Reporting to the CRTC does NOTHING, NOTHING at all. In fact, I'm pretty certain they condone this.

I am on every possible no-call list. I received a call from 705-481-1403 which hung up in my ear as soon as I answered and then 2 seconds later I received a call from an unlisted number where I was offered cell phone deals. Where do I go to report unwanted telephone solicitations so we can collectively press for them to be fined the $15,000.00 disincentive for telephone solicitors who do not respect the do not call list registries?

Very insistent telemarketers selling Solo Mobile cellphones. They are a company called Cyberworks based in Orillia, ON but said they were representing Bell Canada. Rude. Also own this number 705-481-1344. Thanks to ross for info.
