I had a posting put on this citydirect companies website. It is a scam... they offer free listing, which is only a way to contact you to sell you something and they make it very difficult to delete your listing. Don't list on this companies website!

I visited this company's website. They have a toll free number, however, when called there is no way to talk directly with a human. There's multiple menus with menus inside of them, but still no human contact. This is an advertising company ... with no human contact, only voicemails. Hmmmm ...
I stated earlier to file a complaint on the Do Not Call Registry. They do not do the investigating but provide information to any (law) agencies that would investigate for unlawful practices against an offending number/caller.

If you are doing any type of advertising, e.g., Craigslist or website, these people are trying to 'get' you to let them do your advertising for a fee. Why pay for something that you can get for free. I've simply added them to my phone number blocking list.
Fill a complaint on the Do Not Call website against this company. This works only if you complain! If a good amount of complaints are filed the FCC will handle it appropriately.

I just got a landline two weeks ago and 90% of my calls, that's about eight calls a day are telemarketing calls. Can't these companies cut me some slack!

Further research on the phone number, shows the area code 705 is for Ontario Canada. The pre-fix 722 is for the city of Barrie; and all the phones under that area code and city code are land-line.
