When I see an unfamiliar number like this one, I pick up and hang up immediately. The robo calling equipment seems to think its a dead number, and does not call back.  I have used this method, and have reduced the number of junk calls by 80-90%.

And guess what. If it's a person calling, they will call back.

"Eimicke" was displayed on the caller ID.

Didn't leave a message.

They're selling greeting cards, I didn't catch the name of the company; but they did leave a VM and 800 number.

Its a Holiday Card Company.

A male called our agency today looking for ways of searching for people. Asking if ther is a specific software that can be used to locate a person in Canada using their Social Security Number. I corrected him, up here in Canada we have Social Insurance Numbers, and there is no such software avail to the general public for running such data. Unlike our American Counterpartners for collecting, there ware rules and regualtions and protection with the Privacy act.
The male on the phone wouldn't give up, finally I told him, NO, use the internet or the basic tools tour agency requires to search.
DO NOT give info out to this guy, for he doesn't seem to understand what he was asking or talking about and I doubt he is also from a Collection Agency

hi ! they call me ...and i live in Quebec !!

Someone from this number called today (4 times in a row), but never once left a message. I had this number saved in my CallStation database as Imec, but when I reverse search the number it comes up as Eimicke (a company located in Peterborough).  Probably another pesky telemarketer, and it's only January 3rd.

BTW -- my Caller ID info only showed a phone number, no text name.  This usually means it's a telemarketer calling because they often block the caller's name, but leave the phone number in order to trick people into answering the call.
