I just received another call and know that I have pressed "3" on at least 2 prior occasions to be removed from their list. Today I pressed "1" to talk to a live operator who kept giving me the run-around on why I was cancelling and if I was aware (blah blah blah)...I hung up on her so I don't know if my number was recorded. I'm making a complaint too since I'm on the "do not call" lists as well.

I got a call from them a moment ago and let the answering machine pick up, but they left no message.  I got curious, searched the internet, and here I am.  Glad I didn't take the call.  Thanks to those ahead of me who "took one for the team".

*57 to trace the call. Calling back is useless, not a working number. Report to Do Not Call service and FCC. ROBO calls are illegal. If you have asked them to stop, they have 30 days to comply. After that, report.

WARN others and block call. Telemarketing scams are on the rise. They are the new spam. They target the gullible and ESPECIALLY the elderly. So please warn. WARN WARN WARN. Please keep in mind telemarketing scams are on the RISE!!! I cant state that enough. So be careful on who calls you and the services they want to provide. Generally, if you have no business with them, then they are probably up to no good. Scams are on the rise, especially in this economy. People want quick easy cash and your identity for easy money. Dont give unsuspecting suspicious people the chance. BE SMART PEOPLE!

Carla I hate to say it but it is people like you who keep these people harassing the rest of us.  I can't imagine even talking to them much less inviting them into my home.  Just my opinion.

The company called stating that they were funded by the government to help people save energy in their homes ... and qualify for the $3,500 stimulus credits.  I told them that I thought that they had expired.  They assured me they had not.  Asked me if my credit rating was excellent, good or poor.

When the guy showed up, he asked me if I had a time constraint.  I said that I was told that the visit would only take 20 minutes.  He again asked me if I had a time constraint.  I said lightheartedly that I had no intention of spending  the next couple of hours hanging out with him.

He helped himself to a seat at my dining room table and told me to turn the TV down.  He then asked me if I paid my bills on line.  I said that I did.  He drew a grid on the back of a piece of paper and said that he needed me to look up the amount of the last 12 months gas and electric bills.  I said that they should have told me that I needed that information when they set the appointment.  I told him that the problem is that I would need to go upstairs, login, and look up the information ... which means that I would need to leave and go upstairs for at least 10 minutes.  He asked me if I wanted him to step outside ... I said look ... what's the catch ... he began to pack up his things and stated that these are free energy analysis provided to people that are interested in saving energy ... and walked out.  Very weird ... glad he only wasted 5 minutes of my time ... because something is not right.  And you can't call the number to speak with anyone to complain.  So I'm not sure what the scam really is ... but it's definitely a scam!

Same as those above, but when they asked me for what I think my credit rating is (excellent, good, fair, poor), I kept asking them why is this necessary in order to do a free energy audit of my home? They could not give me a good answer. Something about there are different programs available for each catagory. I asked what programs are available for the excellent vs. poor credit score catagories and they said that this is a good question for the technician, once they arrived at our appointment, but I had to tell them my credit score first. They insisted that they were NOT going to try to sell me anything, but they also insisted that both me and my husband be available for the appt. I cancelled. This sounds very fishy. I wish someone could tell us who these people are and what they are doing.

Definitely go to http://www.donotcall.gov/ and report these guys. I did and the fines will pile up on them if you are no the DNC list.

I can't explain how angry i am at these b****eads must have had at least a dozen annoying calls so far. Does anyone buy stuff from these idiots?

I have contacted the FTC no call list which I am already registered on to file a complaint. Not sure it will help but the numer is 888-382-1222. Actually much easier to do on line just go to https://www.donotcall.gov/.

I too have gotten numerous calls from this number and pushed the button to be removed but they have not stopped.  Don't know if it does any good but I filed a complaint with the FTC at donotcall.gov.

What happened to "do not call lists"?

Annoying Robo Calls that won't stop even after you hit the right key to tell them to stop.  Spoke with them today and the woman was extremely rude and said they have never called before. They called 3/4, 3/7, 3/12, 3/13, 3/14 (twice), 3/15 and again today 3/17! If the NO CALL LIST doesn't work then what's the point?  Even after you file a complaint, the gov't never follows up!  More useless Fed Gov't

Same MO as prior calls. They keep calling. If you dial the 1 to speak to them (and ask to be taken off the list), you generally get a busy signal. if you call the number back, the party can't be reached. We are on DNC list as well.

We've been getting daily calls from this number for over a week now and no one said anything when I finally answered. After seeing these previous posts it sounds like it won't do any good to ask them to stop calling. I just hate that they waste so much time for me and my family having to stop what we are doing, get up and check the caller ID.

I have asked the telemarketer to remove us from the call list and selected #3 to be removed during recording to no avail. They continue to call.

I've played along with this and been transferred to a supervisor to verify my information, which strangely includes what I think my credit score is. I faked being cut off during the supervisor's call and she called me back from a Texas number 210-301-0307. Everyone says they have no inbound lines and all their lines are outbound only.  

I hope we can put a stop to this annoyance very soon!

I have been getting calls from this number, no answer whatsoever, line stays a few seconds then hangs up. caller is not identifying itself, only states "WIRELESS CALLER". must be robocall to check if there is an answer; a few minutes later I always get telemarketing calls disguised as "political BS with a free trip to blah blah". I got a call from 1-425-658-8928 PACIFICTEL. I have several entries of 706-362-7296 in my caller-id log.

Multiple calls. Say they are helping Obama distribute stimulous money. They want to do energy audits at my house. No thanks. I'm on do not call list, have requested to be removed from their call list. Still getting daily calls.

Let's find out who these maggots are and shut them down. They're driving me nuts calling. The no call list is a joke.

Daily calls for last several weeks to BOTH my home phone numbers - press the button to be removed but still get calls.  My husband talked to them and told them we were not interested in anything they had to offer and insisted they quit calling and they hung up on him.  Both our numbers are on the 'do not call' list - how can I report this company (they won't even tell us their name.

Getting automated calls, caller ID displays: 706- 362-7296.  However, you cannot return calls to this number.

A recorded message says it is from the, ?Association for educating Americans on energy use?.

At the end of the automated recording, the message states, ?If you are not interested, press 3 on your telephone keypad and your number will be taken off our call list?.  I have done this many times.  However, I continue to get several calls each day.

Today I pressed 1 on my telephone keypad and spoke to someone.  Very suspicious; they want me to give them information and setup a time for someone to come to my house.  However, they will not give me a call back number or any information about their organization.  I cannot find anything about them in Google.

have received robo calls from this number the last two days in a row, I listened all the way thru and pressed 3 yesterday like instructed to be removed, and they called again today.  I wish a miserable life on these cockroaches, with the FCC or whoever is in charge of getting our numbers removed would do their jobs.
