I received a call today around 12:30 stating I was a finalist in the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes and she said I was showing as a member in good standing through Visa, Mastercard or a debit card and could I verify that. I mentioned that I work in a bank and am not giving out any information like that over the phone and she hung up. Sounds like a scam to me.

I got the same call from "mary" asked if I was single....18-40 and was entered into a sweepstakes with the magazine subscription. 10 minutes later I recieved a call from 706-258-2145 from Mary's supervisor wanting a credit card number....yeah right

got the same call as den364 today around noon. said she was from some sweepstakes clearinghouse or something. it was "mary." said the drawing was going to be july 15th. had me confirm my street address, age (18-40), and job. seemed a little weird.

also had a call from "Mary" saying i won a free 3 day trip and mag subscription and entere into a grand prize drawing for 25000 or a 2009 tahoe

I also got a call from this number, called back, got an answering machine for someone named "Mary." No clue what it could be.
