Rec'd call and person wanted to know "my full social"  when I advised  they had wrong #...that I don't know person they are asking for......this was after she asked if last four of my social was "- - - - "...advised it was not.  I asked several times what company this was and she said  Broadwing Communications.  She did SAY she would have my # removed from their system but this isn't first time they have called and I have asked every time to have it removed. Very annoying calls...got a call one time at 6:10 am...when I asked why they were calling at that time of morning  person hung up.

Wanted me to verify last 4 of social and mailing address before she told me who she was and nature of call...kept saying it was a personal business matter.....she didn't even pronounce my name correctly and it is a very common three letter name. When I advised I wasn't verifying any thing..she said OK and hung up.

Stop calling me, unless u r looking for me, Oliver Klosoff. I doubt ur looking for me since I have no debt or credit. I pay cash.

People please listen to what I have to say.  Don't judge the people that these scum bags from the collection agencies are calling about and by all means don't tell them you know those people because once they know you have a connection they will never leave you alone . I waS sent a product with a bill to a previous address, well whoever lived there kept the product and the company never got payed. As a result a collection agency started   calling everybody that knew me, harassing them and even left message on other peoples phones that they were trying to collect a debt. They aren't supposed to discuss personal topics with anyone but that individual. So you see you don't have to be low life or deadbeat, so don't judge and don't tell, it will save your family, friends, bosses and you the headache and embarrassment. And what would you do if you lost a job, would you 1st pay or feed your family or get medicine . And thanks to our economy people are hurting but they don't get relief from the gov.

Repeated calls for wife's information concerning unpaid bills.  Told themI wasn't interested in discussing the bills with them.

This appears to be a debt collection company called United Recovery Systems (http://www.unitedrecoverysystems.com/). They aren't really based in the 706 area. They most likely use a 706 since most people won't pick a call from a unfamiliar number in a different zip code or a number that looks like an obvious telemarketer's number. Also, according to the FTC, debt collectors are prohibited from contacting third parties for anything other than the person's name, address, and place of employment. Called ID'd himself as "John Howell" and his company as "U R Us" from Houston, TX--though the phone ID read "Unipoint Holding."  He called someone who wasn't home, and wouldn't say the nature of his business.

called me looking for my neighbors and wanting me to give them a message...no way.

I was just called by this number and the man ask for my neighbors he new there last name and address but not there telephone number. I called another neighbor and they were called several times as well. I wrote down the mans name and number and took it to my neighbors house and they did not no who the man was. He called with one number but leaves another contact number.

Do not call me, you are wasting my money. If you do not stop I will report you .

I feel certain these calls are from bill collectors (who have no respect for anyone)  My cell number must have belonged to some dead beat who never paid bill and lives some where around Nickelson, Ga with the name of Allen Waters.

It was a debt collector from Chase Card Services. They wanted payment and was willing to set up monthly installments.The caller's name was James and he gave me a different number to call if i needed to call them. ???????

Called me up a few minutes ago asking about some Mathew guy.
They did not identify themselves in any way.

There was no Caller ID name tagged with that call.

yeah they called asking if we lived next to so & so..or if we knew them....who is our neighbor...we said no, never heard of them. WEIRD!

Called looking for my ex-husband, her name was  Ginger.   I told her I have no idea where he is and not to call my number again.
